Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Bonzai- I rebooked mine for this year during the fest last year. Totally worth it! Jacked up the rent though, it's $1800 for Thurs-Sun.......if you saw our balcony though it is 100% worth it.

Oh I still have the same one She talked to the guy and technically we cancelled and rebooked, but he saved it for us. This one is suuuuuper cheap (500ish plus security for Thursday-Monday) and .8 miles away on the beach. So I am VERY happy!

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
So I have a little more info I got tonight..... there's going to be some adds, but it'll be minor bands really. There is supposedly some meeting today Shaul is having where he might decide to drop some money on a big name.
And some really good news imo, regarding string cheese. It was kind of unsure what the whole "two sets" thing meant. I think a lot of us assumed that meant two full sets not the usual festi set i.e WSP last year. String Cheese gets two full festival sets. One on Friday one on Saturday.

Interesting. I wonder who will close out the Surf Style stage on Friday, Wilco or SCI. I'm thinking Wilco closes it out, with SCI getting a late afternoon main stage slot. Then SCI will probably finish out the 2nd stage on Saturday night. Flaming Lips are probably on deck for Sunday.

NO NO NO!!!!!!!! thats bad news! we need those cheese sets to be back to back! music sets are like boobs in that when you push them together they gain more power. also shouldn't the flips play during the eclipse so that they can play floyd's "eclipse" during an actual eclipse- if they do not, someone really dropped the ball, imho

That would be kickazz, but looking over the path, it seems as though it will be barely (if at all) visible from LA. Its over the orient and pacific ocean mostly. Damn.

Soooo... I have a two bedroom cabin at Gulf State Park. I figured I would be able to split it with one of my friends. None of my friends are going. Anyone need a room?
I saw Aziz Anasari at Bonnaroo '10 and we had to run out of that one it was so bad. The closest thing I could compare that show to was Brent Weinbach. Aziz was making fart noises and derp-a-derp sound effects. Completely not what I was expecting based on his Comedy Central specials.
Few things worse than a cringe-inducing comedian when you have a head-full.
Are Deluna and Hangout ran by the same folks? Maybe, Hangout will throw us an add to counter DeLuna or maybe they don't care b/c they are sold out. Any thoughts?

I don't think they are the same people. I could see them adding someone else semi-big.

Completely different people. Five Flags Tourism Group handles Deluna. Huka Entertainment does Hangout.
It would be awesome to get some good late additions to hangout. I'm kinda expecting it at this point.

Yeah it's unexpected that they havent announced the late nights yet... They should get a Umphrey's side project to do a late night, that could always be fun. EOTO at the Keg though!

Pretty sure there aren't going to be late-nights per the City's ordinances. If my memory serves correct that was Hangout's explanation for the pre-party.
