Aren't they just sending out wristbands this year? No tickets for wristbands crap?
I hope so. Got 1 coming in the mail and 3 ordered with the condo. Trying to find out when the earliest we can pick up the tickets/wristbands from the realtor. I don't check in until 3pm on Friday and there are several bands that friends and I really want to check out before that on Friday. It would be awesome if I could pick them up when I am over there for the pre-party.

According to this interview with AJ Niland, they're shipping out the wristbands this year.
AJ: "The lines getting in and out we’ve improved greatly. We have all the wristbands going out in advance so that people can just breeze through the gates when they arrive. There won’t be a wristband exchange program this year, which really slowed things down last year,"

I haven't received an email either, but I did call frontgate last week to confirm my order address. everything was cool, so I wouldn't worry. I bet most start shipping next week.

Jack White's set time has been changed from 8:30 to 9:30. That blows. I was hoping we would get a set from each backing band, but I'm not sure that's happening with just 90 minutes.

the show that was broadcasted on youtube was the girl band for 40 min., 15 min. break and the guy band for the rest of the show. he played longer with the guy band, but it could be done if he played equal time with both bands.

That's encouraging, although I'm still bummed we won't be getting 2.5 hours. On the plus side, I now have an hour to cross the beach and get a good spot after Wilco.

Wow, that is MUCH bigger than the past 2 years. The tent is pretty far out of the way. That should help congestion, though. Really glad to see 3 separate entrances.
I can't find the Water Station. They have a key for it but I don't see it on the map. But I'm probably just missing it.
I'm guessing the Dos Equis Log Roll and the Mega Swing are some more rides. I hope my 5 year old is tall enough to ride, cause I know he's going to to want to go. He was mad he couldn't do the Tower Drop last year.

The bathrooms next to the main stage on the beach side were there last year, but nobody seemed to know about them. I never waited in line there, and they were the cleanest I saw all weekend.
Actually, that whole side of the beach was strangely undercrowded. I think people wandered off the boardwalk and just assumed the crowd was that dense all across the beach. That or they just got tired of trekking through sand. I was able to get really close for Paul Simon just by walking up the beach side.
They forgot to list like 4/5 water stations last year anyway. They want people to die. Or maybe just buy bottled water.
The only water fill up (garden hose) I found last year was in between the Surf Style shop and the mega drop. Looks like they def did leave all of them off the map.
Being familiar with the GS beach, we went to the shower near the entrance to the public beach every day and filled up when we moved between stages. Only waited a few seconds normally for someone else to fill up. It wasn't that cold, but it wasn't hot. I never saw the other water stations.
I hope that I just accidentally deleted it!
