Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
EDIT: I only received the email saying that the shipping label has been created, but nothing more. My sister, who bought hers on the same day, is supposed to be receiving hers today and another friend should get it on Friday (he ordered presale).
Same sitch here. My friend got hers yesterday and ordered after me. They just printed up the shipping labels all at once and are slapping them on envelopes as fast as they can.
I have one (1) Hangout Fest ticket for sale: $260.. If you, or anyone you know, want it please contact me! According to UPS I'll be getting my ticket today (around 1-2pm). I'm selling my ticket because my friends are going to Bonnaroo instead of Hangout and I need the money to cover my 'roo ticket. Thanks in advance!

I'm getting there when gates open on Friday. I wouldn't mind seeing Hey Rosetta at 11:30, and I definitely want to see Rich Aucoin at 1:15. Aucoin is worth checking out if you haven't heard him. It's kind of like Dan Deacon - egghead music geek stuff on record, but the live show is all spectacle and interaction.
I also want to get there early to make a dry run through security and get a feel for how hardcore pat downs will be this year.

Yeah. It was more of a comment based on other people's posts rather than a complaint. In my job, I use UPS all the time, so it all makes perfect sense to me.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
The lines won't be as long and tedious as they were last year. They're now using the Intellitix wrist bands.. Maybe the pat-downs won't be as intrusive either in order to keep the line moving at a steady pace.
Ticket prices are dropping like a rock on stubhub. Lots of tickets available for $240 $230 plus fees. That's about about a $40 $50 drop in 2-3 days. If only I could get two for the price of one, I would be there.
We arrived at our trailer at the Blue Angel Naval Recreation park in P'Cola on Thursday. A friend got me in, $55 a night for furnished two-bedroom trailer with kitchen, etc. We unloaded and drove over the Gulf Shores to check things out. My kid saw they were handing out armbands and went to the car to get his ticket. I left mine in the room. So he was ready Friday and I had to wait in the God awful line, THEN wait in the other God awful line to get in, listening to Karl wondering why they didn't plan better. This and three entry points should make it better, but there are always new problems that can arise. Had a great time inside and never waited for a port a potty or getting water at the shower station. We rode the shuttle in from Orange Beach every day, which was fine. A friend drove us back late Friday and Saturday night was horrible. Sunday's ride wasn't a problem. This year we're supposed to be staying at a friend's beach house four miles from the site, but not sure about parking around the fest site. I didn't want to spend $40 for a shuttle pass to ride a mile each way for three days.

was still holding out hope that avicii would make an appearance between houston and NO...turns out he decided to play east rutherford NJ instead. weak sauce
Haven't got my wristband yet, but I heard the schedule that comes with it does not match up online. Specifically people are saying the printed schedule has Umphreys McGee 430 to 545 instead of 700 to 830 opposite Wilco. The administrator on the official Hangout Message Board seemed to be surprised.

I got my wristband today and this is corrrect. The schedule that they mailed us has Umphrey's and M. Ward swapped out.

they haven't made the change online though so that might just be a misprint on the one they mailed. The map is missing a bunch of shit on it too like the first one was that they posted online. Surely they will make an announcement concerning this soon to clear it up.

I'd bet on the online schedule over the one that came with the wristbands. Any errors with the online schedule would have been fixed by now, like that Jack White set time. That's an easy correction to make. Once the wristband schedules were printed and shipped, they can't really undo anything.

Mine finally shipped but is delivering tomorrow. But I'll be gone to Beale Street Music Festival all weekend. The thought of my wristband laying on my porch all weekend has brought on a whole new kind of anxiety.
Two of my friends going with me decided to volunteer to save money and are trying to sell their wristbands now. 2 for face. PM if interested. I live in the Atlanta area, but we're headin down to Gulf Shores on the 14th.
2 handles of rum (white and dark bacardi) and a bottle of el Jimador tequila purchased yesterday for $70. Just need to get a bunch of juice and some food now. I'm thinking of making several dishes this weekend to bring that can just be reheated. My goal is to not spend a dime on food, water, or alcohol inside the festival by going back to the condo to hear acts on the main stage from the balcony. I will have to see Jack White and Gary Clark Jr up close though...everything else I want to hear from the main stage will be heard on the balcony with a fruity drank in my hand.
