We stayed at a condo on the beach last year and were cooking out on the beach and drinking after 1AM and got no hassle. Their weren't a lot of people out, but def didn't see anyone "patrolling" the beach.
Beaches are cool to party at. After WSP last year a friend and I watched this couple bone for like 45 minutes uninterupted.
I guess I shouldn't say "redeem themselves". This is a good festival, it's just the lineup last year was so perfect that this one just seems weak. If this had been the 2nd Hangout's lineup people would be freaking out. That 2nd year lineup just came out of nowhere. I have faith next year will be truly epic but I'm worried it's going to become a stinker.

I think Its called the "open oceans act" you can be within the tide line no matter what at all times because its our right as humans to have accsess to the water- check it out
The exeption here is if that tideline is within the fest grounds, then the hangout security overrides the OOA
Did I see a post on here that said there were gonna be bands playing the hangout resturant after 11? Is that happening, and how do you get a ticket?

Holy Cow! I was going to say I totally boned this random WSP fan-girl for like 15 minutes then realized we had an audience so I faked it for another 30.

just bought my tickets for the preparty. I won't be able to go during the day but after work I'm hoping to catch DDBB and Big Gigantic. psyched to see the grounds early!

any ideas for whos gonna sit in with who? I was thinking maybe mavis staples could perform with the flips. I don't know how they usually handle all the female vocals on that album but I bet mavis would rock that shite
A safe bet will probably be The Devil Makes Three with Flogging Molly on Saturday night.
On the Hangout Mobile App, there is now a "teststage" in the schedule with no information about it yet. It seems that there will, in fact, be another stage added. Crazy to announce it so late though.
They have released some 3 day GA tickets for the festival: LINK
