What are people going to do when they can't complain to some level of authority over every little thing after society collapses following the fall of the dollar?
According to the Hangout message board, it seems as though they are hinting at handing out the new map/schedule when we arrive... I am a little confused by all of this. Seems that they are trying to keep something under wraps...? This could be gooooood........
Not sure of the source of the "VIP Stage" graphic, anyone know where it came from? It might not be affiliated with Hangout at all. Could just be The Keg trying to promote their shows.
Hey everybody, don't forget to bring 10 cans of food for the Conscious Alliance Food Drive. All the food goes to the Bay Area Food Bank, and you get a sweet poster. This poster is way cooler than the incredibly heterosexual official poster.
Kinda misguided to have rager bands on the kids stage. "Mommy what's wrong with his eyes??"
HAHA!
I can only assume after 5 it's no longer technically a kids stage...I just hope it's not VIP only when they change it over. It won't kill me to miss those acts (I doubt I will see them anyway), but they should at least give everyone the option.
Hope to catch Gravity A with Mike Dillon and EOTO at Keg on Friday...Might get a small group together to throw in on a large cab from the fest site if we feel like keeping the party going.
Yea...my bad. I drank too much nattylight while I was littering the web to notice it was 20. I mean, depending on what you're buying and where you're buying it, that's only $10 or so. The poster from last year was 100x better than the covertly hetero official poster.
Elav8- Yea I should be at the Keg Friday night.....my boy's psychedelic hiphop act is on the bill..."Digital Organix", def check him out. If you were at the Keg after the last Wharf WSP show you saw him sit-in with Zoogma. That late night was ridiculous.......I fished out onto some Philly dudes back there. Not my finest moment.

These additions (if they hold) are actually pretty solid. I've got very little interest is seeing FLips do Dark Side, so I'll probably check out Space Capone (heard good things). Machines Are People Too are really fun live, and I've got nothing else going on at that time. Nothing earthshaking, but I wasn't expecting much anyway.
The official Hangout message board is doing nothing but cause more confusion. I appreciate that the Kangfirmed dude who has been acting as the mouthpiece over there posts and responds like a real human instead of a PR cut-and-paste exclamation point machine, but his posts on this new map stuff are just making things worse.
I don't think this is going to be a disaster or anything, but it's pretty damn lame that they are tweaking the lineup and schedule without explanation less than a week before gates open.
Problem Dog- Yea, FLips Darkside is kinda meh. I saw it at Bonnaroo '10 and Wayne was spun cookies and super annoying. There was like 5 minutes + between songs because he would be rambling. "Smoke weed now...........inhale....hold it....now exhale" "We will have marijuana legalized within the next year guys!!" Straight up Tim Leary-style burnout that blows up the spot wherever they play.
Hangout last year....."this songs for everyone on mahhhhhllly"
Hey you know who didn't kill any momentum while the FLips were playing hangout last year? mawfawkin' Motörhead...I think the only time Lemmy talked to the crowd was 1 second before they started. "We're Motörhead and we play rock n roll"
Yea the schedule is def different now.......STS9 plays longer than Jack White now it looks like. Zoogma is no longer playing on Thursday, just on Friday. etc
