anybody know where i could borrow or rent a surfboard cheap down there? saturday and sunday looks like it might have some slop to ride but the shop in pensacola wants $40/day and by the time monday roles around i could have had my buddy shape me a board for that much. any ideas are warmly welcomed just trying to get wet!!

Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
me + 15 are gonna be a half mile away, having a battle with my landlord right now trying to get our check in time moved up to at least see the Shakes. 3pm check in is garbage.

You might be able to get a key earlier in the day, leave all your stuff in your car, and just unpack after the shows that night.
How can a band play the shuttles? Seems like space would be an issue. People were complaining about shuttle waits last year so it seems kinda goofy to take up seats with a band. It's a creative gimmick though I'll give it that.
Yeah I have been trying to figure that out myself. I'm thinking the full bands will be playing at the the shuttle stop to keep people entertained while they wait. I bet the entertainment on the bus will be limited to an acoustic guitar and hand drum.
My 19 year old and her boyfriend have tickets and were supposed to stay with Bamabelle in Orange Beach (her parent's place) but now Bamabelle has work conflicts and other stuff going on and IF she makes it down - would not make it until late Thurs and have to leave Saturday.
So I have a serious issue - I have two teenagers (well a 19 and a 20 year old) with no place to sleep. Anyone know of anything still available or does anyone have some floor space that they would be willing to let them crash on at night??
Keep in mind - while they are not naive - they also are not partiers, i.e. no no word, and they don't drink (they lost a very close friend at 17 to asphyxiation from drinking so I don't think that will ever be an issue with them) But I also know that they have friends that do both and are the kind that are content to let others do what they want and just go along and do what they want to do.
But, really, if anyone knows of any space available - let me know please please please!

Prayers and positive thoughts answered!! By chance I called Gulf State Park campgrounds and they had literally just had a cancellation - so - while they don't get an air conditioned place with a bed - they can throw up a tent and camp and be just fine - it will just be prep for Bonnaroo for them - Yay!

willSFC and I are leaving Thursday morning for the festival! Been on vacation this week and looking forward to the weekend! I hope to bring home some good 007 tapes again! Safe travels everyone and make sure to be cool in GS so the anti-festival locals don't have anything to whine about!
