Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
After having metal get the short shrift this year, I'd love to see something like what Sang has above. Would love a late night metal show, maybe Mastodon > Dethklok. Have the day time tent with Torche, Baroness, High on Fire, Slayer closing it.
I posted this in the Now Playing thread, but decided it needed to also be here. They haven't played anywhere outside of Europe so this is a pipe dream, but I present you Stoned Jesus.
Im ready for an Iron Maiden late night set. They are such a dynamic live act with plenty of production to go with it. Its a change from the simple setup of most acts which I love during the day, but at night for some reason I love a big production.
I'd like some solid metal next year also. Any or all:
NEUROSIS Mastodon Deftones Slayer High on Fire BTBAM Christian Mistress Converge Refused IRON MAIDEN Torche Baroness Down Rob Zombie (LN would be loads of fun)
I'm a metalhead heading to the farm for the first time this year. I'm happy with Baroness, Download Festival literally stole The Gaslight Anthem from us. They also have Down, Mastodon and Graveyard. For Bonnaroo i'm still hoping for Ghost, Witchcraft, Dethklok,... Opeth would be awesome but I find it unlikely. I would probably be happy with just about anything though.
It doesn't look like that at all. Both of the members have already been replaced, and Baizley's announcement makes it very clear that Baroness is committed to touring. It also explains that the departures are related to injuries from last year's bus accident, so this isn't something that came out of nowhere. They haven't played any dates since the accident, and this announcement just reads like an explanation of what Baroness will look like going forward. I'm sure the personnel change was locked into place before they announced Bonnaroo.
I am sure John and replacement members will still play, but it makes me sad The Baroness I saw in 2010 were SO good, I worry that they won't be the same now. I was already missing Summer and his beauty

nnnnNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Damnit Damnit Damnit since the lineup dropped and I discovered these guys I was sold. Was really looking forward to hitting that show for my heavy fix in the land of jam.
Once again: literally NOTHING about that announcement makes them likely to cancel.
It's the ship of Theseus. Some people seem to feel that Baroness will not be the same or that it will be an inferior reflection of its former self without those two members, while others are fine hearing the same kick-ass songs by different, surely skilled musicians.Or perhaps people just wanted to see who recorded the kick-ass songs that will be played.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.

They already had another member leave before the accident....I believe John is the only original member now. I just want them to be as good as they were when I saw them with all the guys they had before......
Very cool video, thanks for sharing. Excited for Baroness' set for sure. Was kinda hoping their Bonnaroo set would have been their first back on the road, but I'm just glad to see they're back!
What should I check out by Baroness? The only song I've heard is "Take My Bones Away". I'm thinking of just staying after JEFF the Brotherhood to rock out some more to these guys.

I would start with the Red Album since it is their first proper album or Yellow and Green since it is their most recent. All of them are on Spotify and youtube if you are looking for a cheap option.

Neurosis has never been on the farm, but I agree that they would be great to see. Never been to a Neurosis show.
With so many southern sludge & doom bands around, I wish Bonnaroo would scoop up some of them. Royal Thunder last year was a good start, I would just love to see Eyehategod, Weedeater, Dark Castle, or someone like that.
Speaking of southern sludge/doom, I'd absolutely LOVE to see Rwake there. I would be seriously shocked if it actually happened though.
I've never been able to see Rwake live, the closest thing will be when I finally get to see "A Stone, a Leaf, an Unfound Door: Rwake Live at Maryland Deathfest". Latest from Rwake is that is should be available on Netflix by April...but it's already been delayed so long, who knows.
