ZOMG, maybe we are mafia together and we don't even know it!!!
A future warning to all. LLL and I will own this game, if we are ever mafia together.
I am so afraid that this might be true right now! And if you are we're quacked. But I'm not going to brain fuggle myself into a constant circle.
Haha. LLL is probably right about this. We would mess it up pretty bad, if it ever happened.
If anyone can be trusted this round, I think it's LLL. Neither of the possible inspectors once said her name or voted for or against her. Jack made it clear that he wasn't voting to help kill her.
Seems like everyone that's left is mafia and i know that can't be true. I'm at the - if i screw this up- who played so well if they are Mafia that I'll be okay getting dupped by - point. Argg.. How about - right or wrong, can 'live' with going with the person who took the time to help me learn this game, review my thoughts and correct them until the light goes on.. think i'm ok with that.
So - wasn't crazy about holls voting right after me in day 1 and day 2. Could certainly be a timing issue.. day players. But had a hard time accepting the 'clueless' part. Held my vote on day 3 to see what Holls would do, and she appeared to get clued in. Day 4 she posted the first vote. Jham right behind, then he changed.
(And i made a point of being as wordy as i can after a long fabulous weekend because Holls has pointed that out as an irritant through out the game. )
For now, Fawnmart >>> Holls
I know how you feel. It sucks this late in the game. Last time I was here I bungled it up bad, so I'm scared to make a bad move.
I'm still not seeing any sense in killing Sarah. I read through the game last night and it just spun my head in circles. I'm inclined to believe the mafia is trying to divide the remaining players. It's hard to make a case for any two remaining players working together, which is my biggest concern.
I'll vote a little later tonight. ???

I'm going to vote for Holls, for the moment, because I think we need the runoff to include players that the possible inspector pointed towards.
Jake voted against Holls, Fawn and Myself EAP voted against Holls, Fawn and Jham. and lists her in the post before her death (Along Jham.) In fact, if EAP was the inspector Holls and Jham are the only living players left from that list.
I'm still cautious that killing Sarah might have been to leave Holls in the crossfire. The other part of me thinks it was Jham taking out a a sure vote he had coming his way.
So for now...
SFA>>>Holls

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Since there hasn't been any activity since early this morning, this round of voting is closed. We now have a runoff between holls and jhammett. As always, votes will carry over, but you are free to change your vote any time before voting closes.
Don't you have more important things to worry about? It was the weekend. I had other things to do.
Final recalls were Tuesday, office is pretty much empty, exit memorandum submitted, volunteer thank you potluck picnic was tonight, and all that remains is the final moveout & my exit interview. My important things to worry about are taken care of enough to take a moment to heckle y'all.
You know what. I've found Holls more suspicious then Jham most of the game but I think it might be best to go with the whacks and votes.
In the first round every player that has been whacked by the Mafia voted for Jham at some point.... And all four players that voted for Jham in the first round are now dead. He wasn't even in the final runoff. LLL had 6 people vote for her. Only one of them has been whacked and that person also voted for Jham earlier in the round.
That's either a huge set up or a huge red flag.
First round: Cap'n Jack >>> jhammett>>>noage Killed by mafia EAP >>>Popcicle Sarah>>> jhammett>>>noageKilled by mafia Popsicle Sarah>>>EAP >>> jhammett>>>LLLKilled by mafia noage>>> Mike D >>> jhammett >>> LLLVoted off.
Second Round: Fawn was the only person to vote for Jham in the second round but it was just a quick switch before going back to Scrog.
EAP's last post mentioned Holls and Jham before she is whacked.
Third Round: Sarah says she is going to vote for Jhamm no matter what side he is own. Get's whacked. Jhamm is the only player with any real motif to kill Sarah because as we've all discussed. An innocent Sarah, would have been cannon fodder for most of any possible mafia member.
Forth round: As of right now, Jhamm is on track of being the only player to vote off a townie in all 4 rounds. Which in it's self isn't suspicious I don't reckon. Put should be brought up.
There are some inconsistencies. Like why would he save Sarah like he did? Possible to distance himself from Scrog? But even that doesn't make a whole lot of sense for reasons we've already gotten into.
I don't know. Maybe Holls is the quite Mafia. It just seems like there is more evidence for Jhamm. I'm not 100% on this but I think I've got to change my vote....
I'm more then open to more discussion. It's been a little dead for a final and possible deciding round.
SFA>>>Holls>>>null>>>Jhammett

Hmmmmm. I guess I'll reciprocate the vote for now, and since all that he and Fawn have done is call me suspicious the whole game. I guess it is fitting that it should be one of them anyways.
LLL>>>>>Jhammett
I have not called you suspicious the whole game. Day 1 you seemed too quiet, and then the oops with the vote before the whack. That really perked my ears. Assuming you were innocent, you'd just survived the day 1 run off. And yet you were comfortable enough to vote for day 2 before it started. Or your mafia and jumped the gun knowing a decision has been made but not yet communicated. Neither made sense to me, and being the super smart mafia player that you are had trouble with the over tired explanation. Accepted the response but ..
The above stuck with me and somewhere in day 2 it occured to me there might be another explanation. You were not only innocent, you were the inspector. You were worried about being the whack, and left your death message.. LLL >>> SFA.
Thats why i started looking else where in day 2 and digging into it with SFA. By then SFA had coached me to be a little more reserved about naming names. You had used a phrase - let's listen.. so i slipped 'i'm listening' into a post or two hoping you would lead me to the sunny side of the street as the inspector. Day 3 did not bring this.
So much for that thinking. Thats when i realized I truly had no definitive thoughts on who was who.
There are some inconsistencies. Like why would he save Sarah like he did? Possible to distance himself from Scrog? But even that doesn't make a whole lot of sense for reasons we've already gotten into.
If both Scrog and Sarah were innocent, it doesn't matter which way Jham's vote went if he is Mafia. He's getting a townie either way. That switch may have been to distance himself from Mike D. If i recall correctly, they both voted Noage, then both realigned against Scrog. The Jham switched to Sarah.
As you have pointed out, the Sarah kill would be bad mafia move if she were an innocent. Which implies she is a Mafia sacrifice. Seems most likey that her demies was to leave question as to whether there is one or two mafia left. I'm reallllly worried its 2.
If those two are Jhamm/Holls, we have a chance. If its you and LLL, this game is already a done deal.

Should add if there are two mafia left and one is either Jham/Holls, and the other is one of SFA/LLL the odds dont look too good either. Of the JHams/Holls runoff, i think Jham poses the greatest risk of out spinning talk if he is Mafia.

No it wouldn't matter, as far as which one died but mafia usual would sit back and hide behind the votes and take an easy round. Not help turn the round back towards another player. That's all I was saying.

Well, there are two other options.
-If there are two mafia and they thought killing Sarah would lead in us going after Holls. -Jham had to worry about Sarah having it out for him this round. Plus, LLL saying "we could always get rid of him later."
I think it was more likely an attempt to divide and confuse us, like you are saying.
It could also be over because it's you and Holls.
I give you my word, if Jham isn't a member, this game won't end because I'm Mafia with any remaining player.

Seeing this made me want to scream real loud along with robots and dinosaurs, Pee Wee style. I also noticed you were keeping tabs on the situation here, and I thank you for that.
Last game, I was mafia (for the first time) with Mike D and Scrog (additional proof that a newb can be mafia in his or her first game). Anyways, the three of us exchanged plenty of PMs, discussing strategies, inspector guesses, etc. This is a PM I recieved from Mike D early on, regarding some strategies.
I have won all but one of the games I have been mafia. Without kdogg playing, I say our chances are really good that we can do it.
I contemplated messaging KDogg, and seeing how he would feel about my posting PMs from a previous game, but decided not to, mainly because of all the drama that happened last game.
...or did you not ask me because you knew I'd have ripped off your head and shat down your neck over the suggestion?
I don't know anything about the game other than what I read, but I have my suspicions, and I'm curious to see whether they hold up with the reality of the game. Best of luck to all you playing on both sides.
It doesn't look good for the townies right now. Obviously there was only one mafia player left, otherwise the game would be over. I will atleast be interesting to see the end.
And KDogg, btw, I didn't PM you, because it was forbidden by rule 1a...
If you are not a member of the mafia, do not discuss the mafia game outside the mafia thread with any other player or with any non-player who might discuss the game with a player.
Obviously, I had confidence that you would not have gone all blabbermouth about it, but still.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
quackin Holls or Fawnmart. You've both been on my list.
I didn't want him dead! He's the one who recruited me for this game... I was hoping they'd whack ME, not HIM! That's why I was taunting them with comments about assisted suicide...
Well that just pisses me off. SFA was the only player who seemed to have my back. *sigh*
Last night SFA posted his word that he was not Mafia, and I posted back to him giving my word that I am not Mafia. Which meant i would most likely be voting with SFA in this round. I expected to be the whack.
SFA has repeatedly said he found LLL to be the least suspicious player and he was trusting her. So it makes no sense if LLL is mafia for her to whack SFA. She takes out Holls or me, then SFA falls victim after the other is voted out.
He did not say anything to even remotely suggest he would be voting for LLL.
Fawn trusts SFA, SFA trusts LLL. Remove SFA and its everyone for themselves. Seems far too risky for LLL to have made this move.
SFA has repeatedly said he found LLL to be the least suspicious player and he was trusting her.
Fawn trusts SFA, SFA trusts LLL.
Yeah, but he's thinking with both heads. Of course he's gonna say he trusts her.
I still find her extremely suspicious because 1. she's been far quieter than him; and 2. she's admitted that she keeps tabs on the minutiae of all other players (# of posts, log-in times, visibility, etc.) - this type of behavior is not conducive to trust-building but is more indicative of a shadowy character, therefore:
