whats y'all's hair washing regiment? i'm doing an experiment and haven't washed my hair in a month. it's been pretty great, in the morning when i blow dry it stands up on it's own no problem, no itchiness, and i have way less dandruff than before. before i figured any day pusha t was gunna make an album about my scalp.
i rinse it thoroughly every night and every morning but no soap or shampoo.
I condition every day and use shampoo every third day.
I have heard/read all the "shampoo is unnecessary" stuff, but I actually get dandruff if I *don't* use it. Head & Shoulders FTW.
When we were always home in 2020, I tried to train my hair to not need washing every day. It did not work. My hair is very fine and very thin, and if I don’t wash it every day, it gets so gross.
I wash my hair with no poo shampoo once every 3 months-ish. I will condition my hair once every few days, but that could be over 7 days really if I am wearing it up and not exercising/skating (like now since I am still broken). My hair is stupid dry, so if I am going to "wash" my hair it will usually be a dab of condition ran through to get rid of the knots, then I don't rinse, throw on a shower cap and rinse it at the end of my shower after I wash my face.
When I am skating or doing sweaty exercises, I still only condition it.
I shampoo every 3-5 days depending on what I have done to my hair (blowdry and flat iron, curly, pulled back, etc.). If I wet it in the middle, I will put a little conditioner in.
I have a lot of hair and I can't imagine it ever working without any shampoo at all. Also, days where I shampoo are the only days I really get that good, fresh, clean feeling post shower. All other showers are more of a chore than a pleasure.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
i don't take showers. in the summer, I'll go swimming or something, but otherwise, I only let water touch the inside of my body.
I don’t use anything but water on my body, no soap, no body wash. No joke. My wife thinks it’s why my face always stays clear. So I’m going to go with that. I honestly can’t remember why I started doing that, I think something I used irritated me.
Sometimes there's no beer, or "social norms" or "law" say it isn't "appropriate" to drink alcohol, and it isn't possible to put wine in a Diet Coke can.
Do people actually like being told they look like a certain celebrity? I've been getting Seth Rogen for a decade and it got old by year 2
I think it highly depends on the level of attractiveness of the celebrity they are being compared to. Though there’s probably a point of diminishing returns when it comes to pornstars.

They can't be too hot tho, like my cousins call me Aubrey (Drake) bc I recently started wearing cornrows and I know damn well my big body ass don't look like the prince of Canada.

One time I was at a Halloween party at a soriety house and my best friend dressed up as Dwight from the office bc he had nothing to wear last min. He wore brown pants and a yellow button up shirt.
We were just hanging out at the party and this gorgeous woman comes up to us and looks at him dead in the eye and goes "what are you supposed to be? The 40 year old virgin? You look like a 40 year old virgin" and damn she was actually right. My friend did look exactly like the 40 year old virgin. I felt bad bros confidence went to 0 in seconds that night

Y'all ever go back and look at past lineups and your minds get blown? Had a FB memory from 11 years ago that was talking about the 2013 lineup.
Go back and look at 2013. Jesus Christ that was a fucking lineup.
yeah i mean there is no doubt that the lineups aren't as good as they used to be.
2013 top three lines:
Paul McCartney - Mumford & Sons - Tom Petty - Bjork - Wilco - Pretty Lights R. Kelly - Wu-Tang Clan - Daniel Tosh - The National - The Lumineers - David Byrne & St. Vincent Passion Pit - The XX - Kendrick Lamar - Grizzly Bear - Animal Collective - Of Monsters and Men
OK, breaking this down, Paul McCartney is massive. Mumford & Sons was hot shit at the time (even if i wasn't excited at the time, and wasn't this the lineup where Jack Johnson replaced them anyway?), and Tom Petty was playing frequently but still a rad booking. Wilco is a roo classic, Pretty Lights was about to become a roo classic, and Bjork is the type of off-kilter booking you never see at bonnaroo anymore. R. Kelly was the type of fun non-roo booking they used to do and he wasn't in prison yet, Wu-Tang Clan rules, The National rules, David Byrne & St. Vincent rule and was a limited-time type of engagement. The Lumineers are what they are but people love them, and they are a smart pairing with Mumford. Passion Pit was hot at the time and a big fun poppy booking. The XX is ultimate sleepy band but critically acclaimed and people love them. Kendrick wasn't full on Kendrick yet but was an up and coming phenom. Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective were both big indie names. I don't know what Of Monsters and Men is.
Below the top three you had Nas, ZZ Top (below the top three! two bona fide legends), Beach House (indie darling), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (big single energy), Cat Power, A$AP Rocky, Jim James, Weird Al!, Tame Impala (who again weren't Currents Tame Impala yet but Lonerism was the biggest thing to come out of the burgeoning neo-psychrock scene at the time), Billy Idol, Dwight Yoakam, John McLaughlin.
And honestly I don't want to list anymore. Just wild that even in the dead middle of the lineup poster there are still legends and true hot new shit one after another.

IMO, it’s kinda hard to accurately judge old lineups after about 30-40 names because those names are generally not big or well known at the time. I’ve seen people look back at Thursday Roo lineups and say “that was stacked” but 95% of the time it wasn’t stacked in the moment. It’s just some of those Thursday acts eventually get bigger and more well-known and make those lineups more impressive in retrospect.
Also, I think roo’s sweet spot was somewhere from 2007-2014. I attended from 11-14 and the lineup noticeably dropped in 2015 then went off the deep end in 2016.

Mostly with past Primaveras. Make me wish I'd been born a decade earlier.
Primavera 2022 is gonna be the one people look at in a decade and wish they were able to go to. best, festival lineup ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing and its not even close.
Lolla 2008, Bonnaroo 2014, FYF 17, Panorama 17, Pemberton 2014, and Fuji Rock 17 are the biggest ones for me that i wish i could have seen
