^^ I did the same, I figure if I go to one or two more shows within a year I will have the money value back. By the time I could have bought day tickets today, it saved me 25 bucks. $15 for the soundcheck party and pit access is well worth it in my opinion - I don't have the energy or patience to want to wait or fight my way to the front all the time, this will be a very nice bonus - a bonus to share with numerous other inforoosters!!!!

Bit the bullet yesterday and joined Roll Call. Bought pit packages for all my friends. Betting MMJ blows this sucker out. Christmas in July. I'm all in, guys.
Bacon picked me up pit passes. You can add me to the shindig.

$15?! Wanna get two for me? I'll PayPal ya.
I really wish I could, but there is a limit of 4 and that is what I have bought already. You can be the first name on Mike D's waiting list though
and FYI, the $15 was the difference in price after I got the Day passes, it is still $40 per. Maybe some other folks here have not bought their 4 and you can still work it out ???
Who all is staying at the Galt house? Gonna book when I have my credit card, I left it in my pants yesterday or something. My dad live about an hour south of Louisville, but he is starting IV chemo again so I figure we can have a nice night at a hotel and not worry about driving after the show.

Ooooh, OK. I'm dropping enough on the hotel, if Al wants to do this I'll make him pay for it
You can be first on my waiting list too. It is possible I will have one extra.
There are quite a few people staying at the Galt from Inforoo and about 90% of the MMJ forum as well. I'm staying at the Marriot Courtyard myself and I know a few others are too. It's the same distance and a little cheaper.
If you aren't already book through here forecastlefest.com/about/lodging/ they have the cheapest rates for pretty much everything around.
Roll Call really is the best damn fan club around. If the pit at Forecastle is anything like the infamous "GA West" Roll Call pit at Madison Square Garden, we're in for a very, very special evening.

Hmmm, now I'm thinking that we should also do the roll call package too on top of already buying VIP for Saturday. Would love to hang out with everyone for the sound check and be in the pit party :-(
My wife and I are staying at the Residence Inn downtown, but I really wish we could have booked a place at the Galt House, in retrospect. It seems like that's where the fun is going to be at all weekend. ...

My BF is getting us the passes. YAY. See y'all there!! Can't wait for this.
Also for people who are from out of town, the Slugger musuem is pretty cheap. They make the bats there as well and you get a mini one when the tour is complete!! It's downtown in walking distance of everything.

You can change reservation. It's not too late.
We booked via priceline, so we're locked in. At least we got a really good deal.
