Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
They've printed posters with artists listed on them. I know they haven't announced as many bands as they said previously but I thought the posters kinda nixed any further additions. Really hope I'm wrong though.
We were talkiing about the meet-up in chat. We were thinking of waiting until we know what time the MMJ sound check is and maybe doing it between that and normal gate open time
My house is always available for orgies. See you there.
But yea, I'm interested to see the conflicts as well. Hopefully nothing to severe. How many stages are there? Do headliners (namely MMJ) play unopposed?

5 stages in the past. Not sure if it will be the same this year. Don't think the headliners were unopposed either.

For anyone who has been before, how close should I be looking to get a hotel?
Is it hard to get a cab afterwards if I find a place 2-3 miles away? Is there public transportation that is legit and runs that late? Or on the way to most hotels are their bars that would be a nice halfway point where the walk isn't that bad?

Close is obviously more convenient. Check and see if the Galt House is still running a Forecastle special. It's a great, old hotel overlooking the fest.
There's a new "Schedule" option under the "Lineup" tab with the URL lineup.forecastlefest.com/schedule but when you click it, it redirects to the basic lineup page. I'll bet it drops in the next few hours...
(BTW, the only way to see the "schedule" option is to start at the home page. It doesn't show up when you're on the lineup page.)
Festival hours will roughly be as follows: Friday: 5 p.m.-midnight Saturday: 2 p.m.-midnight Sunday: 2 p.m.-10p.m.
Needless to day, we're going to have to find SOMETHING to do after the last band of the night plays!!
Thanks for posting this. It's still so odd to me that they would charge the same price for single day tickets when you're getting so much more on Saturday (including the top-billed act). Makes me feel like I'm getting so much more for my single day ticket (especially at the Tier 1 price).
I'm hoping to see: MMJ, Andrew Bird, JTE, The Features, James Vincent McMorrow, Dr. Dog, Stax, and PHJB, but with 10 hours of music, it's going to have to work pretty perfectly for that to happen.

Good point about the poster. You might be right.
They promised "over 75 additional artists" to MMJ on 1/24. Right now, they're at 69, which would mean a minimum of 8 adds (77 > 75+ MMJ) for that to be true. Friday is probably already pretty full for only 7 hours of music and Sunday already has one more act than Saturday despite ending 2 hours earlier. That suggests most adds will be to Saturday (unless they schedule shorter slots and/or more opposition to Wilco on Sunday).
I'm not expecting huge adds at this point, so it might not matter that they're not on the poster. However, they're still selling tier 2 tickets, which could suggest sales are slower than they expected. They might want to increase interest by adding a couple bigger names.
Woo!! Great schedule! LOVE Jeff the Brotherhood on Friday night. Also LOVE Girl Talk against MMJ -- thin out the Jacket crowd baby!
The only disappointment I have is the expected Deer Tick/Charles Bradley conflict, and the absence of the Stax Soul Revue. It was pretty much guaranteed that they were no longer playing, but Forecastle never announced an official cancellation, so I still had some hope.
That fucking schedule is amazing. So few conflicts and great movement between bands. My excitement already doubled today when i saw MMJ's first two setlists of the tour. Now it just doubled again

It is a very nice schedule. I like the Flylo/Bassnector split on Friday night. Just wish Flylo had more then an hour but that's a small complant. Wilco and MMJ are both down for 2 and half hours. Hell yeah!
