No. And there would be nowhere to fill them either. Security was really inconsistent last year. Some would allow me to bring a bottle of water, others would not. Water inside was $5 a bottle.
Wow. $50 for Mau5trap. Too rich for my blood - on top of the Ultra tics. Hey laggy, if my wife and I want to do a LN on Friday or Saturday are we going to be best served getting tickets before we get down there?
We are going to pull the trigger on the Nikki Beach shindig on Saturday night. That venue looks amazing - and I want to get to at least one of the LN's on or near Miami Beach.
I looked on the Facebook event page for No Sugar Added, and the women who are attending it are model-esque and from NYC, Argentina, etc., which will be much to my wife's chagrin. I just don't know how we're going to make it work as far as getting from Ultra to South Beach. That's why I love 'roo - when the What stage headliner is done, you just walk to over to the other stages. This could be a logistical nightmare as far as trying to find a cab, the traffic, etc. We may just drive to Ultra Saturday, but then we'll have to find a parking space both before and after the show when we head across the bridge to South Beach.
Ultra released their smartphone app today..it doesn't have set times, but it does have run order...friday night as anticipated looks like a clusterfuck. Tiesto, carl cox, pretty lights, and wolfgang gartner closing out stages it looks like.
Looking at the smartphone app, who is everyone excited to see? Judging from the app, it looks like there are going to be some horrible conflicts. ... On Friday, I want to see Afrojack and some of Tiesto on the Main Stage, Pretty Lights, Miike Snow, New Order, Neon Indian and Afrobeta on the Live Stage, some Carl Cox on his stage, Groove Armada on the Korea stage and Paper Diamond and MiMOSA on the Worldwide stage.

It's looking like Justice v.s. DJ shadow... that concerns me.. Otherwise I see no major conflicts
Friday I'm Looking at Paper Diamond Mimosa Madeon Porter Robinson Miike Snow Neon Indian Maybe some of Kraftwerk Skrillex Pretty Lights
Sat I'll be spending most of my day at the dubstep/dnb stage UMF Brasil High Contrast v.s netsky Zeds Dead 12th Planet Flux pavillion v.s. doctor P (really excited for this one) Pendulum Andy C Datsik Borgore
leaving maybe briefly at times for mord fustang, digitalism, nadastrom, and of course justice and DJ shadow
I wanted to give M83 a chance, but I'm not digging them much and there's too much going on Sat. I'm pretty sure I can't justify whoever else I'd be missing to see them I'll probably check out some of 2manyDJs sat also
Sunday it looks like much of my day will be spent at the live stage Keys n krates SBTRKT FLylo (wholly unimpressed on album, but wanna give him a shot live) Bloody Beetroots Chase n Status Bassnectar
Actually looks like the only artist I'm really excited for on sunday NOT playing the live stage is KNIFE PARTY
p.s. when are they going to give us a real schedule to work with?!?!?

Here's what I've got Friday Skrillex (My wife's a big fan, and I plan on giving him a chance) Afrojack Pretty Lights Miike Snow New Order Carl Cox (A Carl Cox-Pretty Lights conflict would be kind of tough for me) Dada Life Groove Armada
Saturday Justice and DJ Shadow are two of my must sees for the entire festival, so I'm going to be really torn if they conflict. ... Fatboy Slim (Saw him at North Coast, and he killed it, but I also kind of want to see M83) Duck Sauce Little Dragon Pendulum DJ set 12th Planet Flux Pavilion-Doctor P
Sunday David Guetta (I can't help it, I like him, even though he makes me laugh when he tries to sound cool) Steve Aoki Bassnectar Bloody Beetroots DJ set Flying Lotus SBTRKT Big Gigantic ATB Afrobeta
And I'm thinking the same thing on the schedule, laggy. I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to see everything I have on my list.
Schedule works out pretty well for me, I'm happy with all the DJs I will get to see.
Friday Luke da Duke BAO Dome 4:00 Michael Woods UMF Korea 5:00 Mimosa UMF Worldwide 6:00 Benny Bennassi Main 6:40 Porter Robinson UMF Korea 7:30 Afrojack Main 7:45 Skrillex Main 9:10 Tiesto Main 10:30 Pretty Lights Live 11:00

As for after parties thinking about the paul van dyk launch party, but they recently just jacked the prices of tickets up, so now I'm not sure. I don't want to go all the way to south beach. so looking for more afterparties that are downtown.
SATURDAY: High Contrast b2b Netsky -> Mord Fustang -> Mt. Eden -> Skream + Benga -> Erick Morillo -> Little Dragon -> Flux Pavillion b2b Doctor P -> Pendulum DJ set -> Justice -> 2ManyDJs
SUNDAY: Big Gigantic -> SBTRKT -> Flying Lotus -> Katy B -> Magnetic Man -> Bloody Beetroots DJ set -> Chase & Status -> Bassnectar
Oh man! PENDULUM -> JUSTICE -> 2MANYDJS is TOO GOOD to be true!

Well, no floating stages. But I'm relieved they didnt cram everything into the tiny space of bayfront's actual "park" (the south end on the right side). Just the main stage and some of the smallest scale stages And I'm glad they're shutting down biscayne blvd. This should alleviate quite a bit of crowding d1ofy40h253rmv.cloudfront.net/2012-sitemap.jpg

Rather than going the the Can U feel it movie premier tonight my friend an I decided to go to an invite only Absolut party we were invited to (From signing up to an email list a while back) We saw santigold free 2 months ago at an absolut party and there were free drinks and food, so we though this would be the way to go. Lineup included Dada life and "Special Surprise Guests". Really didn't think much of it But we showed up and there were Swedish house mafia ads everywhere. We learned that this was the Absolut Greyhound product launch event, and greyhound is also the new single from SMH. Turned out we were at a secret exclusive intimate swedish house mafia show. I really have never been a huge fan but holy sh!t did they just rock my face off. A great start to my WMC/Ultra week!
