Gary said "More #rooclue clues" as in more clues in the morning about the clue we were working on to solve, but we had solved it before the next day. Hence the reason no more clues. Make sense?
I just wanted to say that I'm going back to Roo for the first time since '09, and this whole Roo Clue business has got me more excited than a three legged man in an ass kicking contest.
I hate to be repetitive, but I really feel the delay is due to how fast we figured out the first one. I think he may be tweaking some of his clues a little.

His tweet about them being too easy or him giving too much help supports that which sucks because I didn't think the first one as easy at all.
I know there is no way in hell I could have solved that clue. I may have been able to put Marilyn Manson together (and been wrong) but no way I would have gotten Mogwai.
Is it a fluke that the first was solved? Because if not, it seems like the rest should be solved too. Maybe not as quickly, but solved nonetheless.
My theory on clue difficulty is that they want to drop an act or two every week leading up to the lineup release. If they make the clues too easy then there will be a longer period of time between the clue being solved and the next clue being released. On the other end of things though if they make the clues too hard to solve, then we'll still be sleuthing on one clue when the next clue drops. Finding that middle ground for difficulty I imagine is not an easy feat.
Anyone know when we are getting clue #4. We seemed to have solved #1 and #2 (even if we don't know what the answer is) and #3 has been worked into oblivion.

HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT.
I got a new job! And it's actually in my field! And I won't have to work retail any more! And I'll have money, and benefits, and vacation time, and other things that grown-ups have! Drinks are on me this year! Quack, Bonnaroo is on me.*
Anyhow, the reason I am mentioning this here (apart from really really wanting to mention it SOMEWHERE) is that I feel terrible that the site has gotten so far behind, and I wanted you guys to at least know why I hadn't updated. I didn't even realize it was so bad - I had a lot of stuff done and had some technical issues with my web host and couldn't upload it, and I didn't realize until very recently that apparently I never DID upload that stuff. Oops. Anyway, I swear I will work on it tonight and hopefully will have it up to date by like...tomorrow.

*Not really.**
**We'll see.
Any work at all that you do for these clues is extremely appreciated, noooo need for apologize for not also keeping a web-site up to date.

I really feel like there was a notable difference in the way this year's clues were written, as far as grammar / sentence structure goes. Like, last year it was way easier to tell how the various parts of the clue related to each other and/or to the artist in question. This year's clues in general tend to give far less indication of what we're supposed to do. We end up with a handful of phrases/concepts and we just try to find an artist that can be tied to each of those ideas individually. But you can pretty much do that with any artist, and nothing is going to sound perfect - when the wording of the clue doesn't tell us how to use the clue, everything sounds like a stretch.
I wasn't paying close attention, but I thought I heard something about another clue from Gary Chardonnay on Radio Bonnaroo just about 10 minutes ago. I found this really unusual since the lineup has already been released. Also, there's been nothing on Twitter about it.

Was I imagining things?
Gary did post this on his twitter on Monday: bonnaroo Radio's #mondaymayhem features boy/girl duets for Valentine's day & the FINAL #rooclue. Tune in: bit.ly/UAZ8y 13 Feb via TweetDeck
I don't think there ever was a clue released though.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Well, then that makes sense. I believe the last thing she said was that it was the final clue from Gary. Sorry for not capturing it. I was caught off guard.
Probably doesn't matter, anyway, but would be interesting if it were in relation to a future artist addition.
It's funny, even after knowing the lineup I still can't figure these out. Took a stab at trying to figure out which is which. Still have no idea about #9.
1. Mogwai 2. Battles 3. Tune-yards 4. Fruit Bats 5. EMA? 6. St. Vincent 7. The Antlers 8. Childish Gambino 9. no idea... 10. City & Colour 11. Ludacris (this and Bon Iver were the only ones on the lineup I saw that were guessed before it dropped)
