Holy shit talk about timing. I've seen all 5 seasons twice now, and just finished season 1 tonight for the third go around (bring on seasons 2-5). This show definitely makes my All-time Top 5 for TV shows.

Nope, Bubbles' speech thought the Slim Charles scene was pretty epic.
Since mc gave us the go ahead, the issue I have with season 5 is that it seems like they were just trying to tie up loose ends with the big story arcs. The added newspaper nonsense just felt tacked on and out of place which was counter to almost everything in the other 4 seasons. That being said, I loved how they ended the series.
How can a person with an Omar av be sooo, but not really that, wrong.
As for this, I don't know what you mean. I really want to post about what happens in the two seasons, but since we can't, let's just say that Season 3, in my mind, was the most complete season.
I'm watching those two seasons throughout the week now, just to bask in their awesome glory.

Spoiler if someone hasn't seen season 1
It's not my favorite and I don't think it's the best scene, but Wallace's death in season 1 definitely sticks out as the first "Holy sh*t!" moment of the series for me. Up until that point I don't think I'd seen a death in a movie or T.V. show that felt more real than that one. Totally floored me.
@ Glennron's comment (don't want to quote the spoiler): That was the first scene in the show that left me speechless, definitely the first "holy sh--" moment for me too.
- The death of Stringer Bell was one of the most powerful moments in TV history that I've ever seen. - Bubbles is the greatest. I feel so bad for him in this season getting bullied by that summers breeze in a sac thug kid. I really hope that kid gets quacked up. - Since it's introduction I've loved the Cutty subplot. I really like his character a lot and he seems like a good person so that makes me nervous that something horrible is going to happen to him.

It is hard to rank the seasons for me, season three is probably my favorite season because of Stringer. However the last episode of season 4 is probably the best overall episode of the series.
I seem to be in the minority whose favorite season is 2. I loved the mysteriousness of The Greek and Frank Sabotka was a really strong and well-acted character.
Nope I'm almost done with season 4. I lied saying that I'm staying out of this thread just keeping a watchful eye out for spoilers. Season 4 is great so far and I'm assuming from what I gather that the second half of season 4 is when it realllly gets good. I think that 2 set the groundwork for bringing the focus back to Avon. I guess I can see how it doesnt fit in but also The Greek does have some loose ties in with Prop Joe's people and it kind of showed how things kept moving with Avon in jail.
Really what I'm excited for after season 4 (because from what I hear season 5 is vastly inferior to the rest) is re-watching all 5 seasons (esp season 1) now that I have a more firm grasp on all the characters.
