2011 - Being camped in BFE, I spent WAY too much time at camp during the day. I typically wouldnt make the hike into Centeroo until about 4pm everyday and missed A LOT of great acts that played earlier in the day. I was also recovering from strep throat so I had to take it easy.
i camped in BFE in 2010 and loved it. my mistake with that was going into centeroo everday around 10/11am... and its almost as if I skipped the latenight scene entirely. if I knew how dope it was really going to be, I would have planned for sets like Wale and LCD Soundsystem or some dancing at the silent disco (of which i still have never done).
It seems to me like i HAVE to take a headliner nap in order to be able to do late night. even with TA hydration and amenitities, I still didn't have the energy to finish lil wayne's set... but come SATURDAY in 2011 i napped before eminem and made all the way till 4am going hard at gogol. it was worth it.
Choosing to use port-a-pottie's in Centeroo. My bestfriend caught crabs.
how do you know it wasn't from hooking up with a burner?
Worried Freshman (Ryan Carlberg): "It's like this itchy, rashy, burning sensation. And it hurts when I..." Van: "Dance?" Worried Freshman: "No, when I pee!" Van: "You hooked up with a burner. Didn't you?" Worried Freshman: "yeah." Van: "She seamed like a nice girl, said it was her first time. Yeah, you should always check the quality of the turf before you step out onto the field. Liston, go to the campus hoppital. See stu. Tell him Van sent you. And remember, Don't be a fool, wrap your tool." Worried Freshman: "Thanks Van, thanks a lot." Van: "Dont't thank me. Thank penicillin."
2010: Leaving the FL covering Dark Side... rest of my group wanted to see Cudi, and that was a HUGE disappointment. B.o.B made up for it a little bit, however.
2011: I regret missing Sleigh Bells. I was too tired from the long drive to stay up for it. My punishment was to have to listen to the crowd going nutso while I was trying to sleep. I sorta regret missing Florence + The Machine also, but I'm sure there was a good reason for it.
2007: I lost my ride the day before the fest started and missed it. Too late to sell my tix and didn't know anyone who could go on short notice. I regret not having properly maintained my own car.
2006: I regret not taking it easy on Friday. I missed a lot of music because I spent 5 hours in first aid and was too groggy from the meds they gave me to enjoy Tom Petty.
I saw part of both GWAR was excellent, TFL, were terrible, just left and got a good spot for LCD.
Step up your reading comprehension game, son.
Not really I read what was said and gave my personal opinion on it. The second Wayne started talking ablout how HIS version of DSOTM was the definitive one I just about lost my lunch.

He is referring to the OP speaking about missing TFL and GWAR in 2011. TFL and GWAR played in 2010.

Yeah I get it, I was just letting the OP know he really did not miss that much imo.
2010: -Not being properly rested and hydrated and passing out at The XX when the first bass note hit after managing to get 10 feet from the rail.. but on the plus side I still saw the show from side stage after some helpful Roo-er threw me over his shoulder and carried me to security at the rail -Not seeing LCD
2011: -Waiting around for a friend and missing all but the last 3 songs of Band of Skulls -Leaving Twin Shadow to catch some of Sleigh Bells -Heading back to camp during Deerhunter because I literally fell asleep while standing -Having to leave mid-Donald Glover set because my bladder couldn't hang on any longer
2012: -Moving to South Korea so Bonnaroo is not in the realm of possibility (on the bright side, i'm planning on trying to fill this gaping void by going to Fuji in Japan)

I'd say I've handled the many conflicts that Bonnaroo's thrown at us very well. Even so, here are a few things I regret:
2010: - Going to sleep after Jay-Z and missing deadmau5 and the Disco Biscuits - Missing the Dead Weather to go back to my tent - Choosing the Gaslight Anthem over Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes - Not staying at John Butler Trio longer due to the heat - Not heading to Centeroo early enough to see Tokyo Police Club
2011: - Not leaving the Black Keys early to get a spot for Buffalo Springfield. Easily biggest Bonnaroo regret ever. I'd already seen the Black Keys twice before, and by the time I got to the Buffalo Springfield, Which was packed, and the sound was crap, couldn't hear a thing. - My friend's one requirement was to see Lil' Wayne. He was awful, and I missed Big Boi and Bassnectar. - Not staying at Robyn during the whole Robyn vs. Iron & Wine vs. Gregg Allman vs. Cold War Kids fiasco. CWK were alright, I&W was alright, but Robyn KILLED IT.
2012 shows: 3/23 - The Men 4/9 - Of Monsters & Men 4/21 - Bassnectar 5/2 - Shpongle 5/22 - Jack White 6/1 - tUnE-yArDs 6/7-6/10 - Bonnaroo 2012 6/18 - Destroyer 6/20 - The Tallest Man On Earth 6/23-6/24 - Governor's Ball
Leaving a front row spot at Beirut after a few songs to see the Strokes... who were late because Julian Casablancas was watching Beirut as well. By the time I got to the Strokes, with the horrible sound quality of the Which stage, I couldn't get anywhere to really do leaving Beirut justice.
2008: Leaving MMJ early because I was exhausted (haven't lived this one down yet, which I shouldn't) Missing Ghostland Observatory because we were waiting for Kanye West, ugh. 2009: Missing MGMT for falling asleep 2011: Missing STS9 because I couldn't stay up that long

1st time at roo - too much time at the main stage 2nd time - missed some great music by tying myself to my friends too much 3rd time - spent too much time by myself for the sake of music found a good balance ever since
oh, and i should also say i regret volunteering after WET took over. really loved volunteering several years in a row but then WET came in and made it a terrible experience
Missing Deadmau5 and Bassnectar 2010 Missing Deerhunter '11 Missing Cheese '11 Missing My Morning Jacket '11 Missing Ratatat (kinda upset, but I was at PL which was one of my favorite shows of all time...so can't reallly complain) Not buying a ticket the year Bonnaroo had Radiohead
