Eye of the Storm (fan title, not the official title, the album has no official track names) is the first song in the sixth volume of the "In Search of the" album by Buckethead. I don't know if I would call him a performing cadeaver though. It is in the theme of it all though.

As hard as it is to believe that someone could use the phrase "performing cadaver" without meaning Keith Richards, I'm assuming that that bit of the clue is not actually referring to a performer of, er, advanced years. I think it's always safe to assume it's not referring to the career of our performer - it would be one thing to refer to a comeback sort of situation, but to imply that the person's career is STILL dead...unnecessarily insulting.
And since we know the name doesn't include "dead," it seems that we're left with someone whose name includes something like zombie, vampire, corpse, body, or some reference to something like that. Of course it could totally be something other than a reference to the person's name, I just...can't think of what other kind of connection it could be.

Um, I don't think I want to mention the fact that the Hebrew for "I am that I am" is pronounced "ehyeh asher ehyeh" - or that Asher Roth has a new album coming out in a couple months.
Breathe easy, though - I can't find any way to connect "performing cadaver" or "eye of the storm" to him.

I don't even want her, but I really think just about every answer is less substantial than Gaga. That literally means God. She performs as a dead person. Her name is a title as per the weird wording of the hint. Fame monster=center of the storm.

Whoa, I actually like that one a lot. Mainly because I love Vampire Weekend, but that's not too bad of an analysis there.
I was going to mention the "exquisite corpse" style of art, that maybe the performing cadaver part is referencing. Daedalus and Warpaint have an LP and EP respectively, each titled "Exquisite Corpse." And Daedalus also has an album "Rethinking the Weather" and a few other records referencing the weather...Not sure where "I Am That I Am" comes in though.

It just makes so much sense. And although I don't really know her music very well and havnt given it much of a chance, I would definately be up for that show because of the performance value alone.

There is the whole "Paul is dead" rumor that would fill the performing cadaver part.
And Paul once dated the sister of Rory Storm (so she had her "eye" on him).
Or it could link to Ringo, who also dated Rory Storms sister and was the drummer of Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.
I know it's probably unlikely, but another connection to Paul. I found a couple of websites referencing something he said in an interview:

Tricky has a song called "Dead God" his mother committed suicide when he was 4 in December of 2010, he and his band where caught in a blizzard in Canada for like 30 hours.
Aside from I am that I am meaning God, I really hope this is hinting at Godspeed You! Black Emperor.. I can't really piece anything else together (although they do have a song named Storm), but I've wanted to see them for such a long time.
