Da Vinci's famous "Vitruvian Man" shows two views of the same man within a circle, used to demonstrate ideal proportions based on the human body. At the exact center of the circle (eye of the storm?) is the man's belly button, or navel. Da Vinci supposedly modeled the man on a cadaver.
Edit: Hendrix's "Belly Button Window" is about a yet-to-be-born baby *looking* out on the world through his mom's belly button.

I don't think its Refused but I like the idea of performing cadaver meaning a reunion.
Refused is NOT f*cking dead!
im so pissed their show up here sold out. i literally went to buy tickets yesterday morning and they were gone now I'm praying for a 2nd show to get added or for roo to make my dreams come true. i need me some protest song 68 live!!!
After following belly button logic to Hendrix's "Belly Button Window," Nas has a song, "Fetus (Belly Button Window)," supposedly inspired by the Hendrix song. The 2012 hip-hop artist?

Idk the whole thing feels like it has something to do with Iamamiwhoami... would be kick ass if they did their second live show at bonnaroo. did their first at way out west last year... sad to say I had to miss it.
Bonnaroo Wish 2011 Wish List.. Going Big lol... F&TM, Robyn, La Roux, of Montreal, Janelle Monae, Sia, M.I.A., Girl Talk, Daft Punk, Animal Collective, Radiohead, The xx (but prolly not), iamamiwhoami (would be a dream), Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear... perhaps more but that would be greedy haha
My guess is Zomby. Don't know what the "I am that I am" refers to, but the name fits the "performing cadaver" part.
As for "Look to the eye of the storm", I Googled "Zomby Eye Of The Storm" and this came up www.imdb.com/title/tt1871270/
Synopsis of the film: "Zombies, missiles, and a man with a plan"
Plus, he played at MoogFest
I don't think I'd call what he did "playing" at moogfest. I'd be very surprised if AC booked him after his show at the Orange Peel @moog. It was possibly the worst show I've ever seen.
Rob Zombie would be great though. I saw White Zombie about 4 times back in the 90's and the show was always great.

I know that article is full of crap, but they were close on the release date so they might have semi-reliable sources...
Yes, they did have a semi-reliable source - it was called "Inforoo." The promotions guy for that radio station had been posting here under a variety of monikers. It's B.S.
I think Lady Gaga fits, and I could absolutely see her playing a late-night post-headliner on the What (RHCP>Gaga on Saturday?), but that website/article is garbage.
You're probably right about it being 100% inforoo, but I had my hopes up for them having atleast one other source. Namely because I can't understand why they wouldnt cite RHCP even though Insider confirmed them. You'd think that the site would want to look like it was accurate when the lineup actually came out. And nobody on here seriously considered Prince, so that was odd too. But they must just not give a crap.

"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

Really? I heard Zomby was AWESOME at Moog.
This Zomby?
Well, it started off pretty good. He had his mask on and was DJing and drinking some kinda beer and smoking. Never interacting with the crowd with his head down just doing his thing. It was pretty crowded to start with, I was up against the barrier in the front, I was super excited to see Zomby. About midway through his set it turned to mashups but really poorly done ones and near the end it seemed he was just playing straight hiphop. I'm not one to leave sets so I stuck around, that and the walk from the Orange Peel back to the other venues was a long one. A little after 1/2 way I felt a lot of space behind me, I turned around and seriously 3/4 of the crowd was gone. You could see clearly all the way back to the bar area. A woman next to me was yelling at him that he sucked and at this point he really did, however I would never do this myself. I decided to see if I could get into flylo and left. His set wasn't done but I'd say there were less than 30ish people? It was my all time biggest disapointment.
If you asked me a couple years ago if I'd have wanted to see GaGa at 'Roo, I would have said hell no. I've really grown to respect her, however, and actually enjoy her music now. And I appreciate her pro-gay-rights stance. Heard nothing but good things about her show. Late night. Outside. In a different state of consciousness. Sounds good to me.

Amen. I have seen her, and her show is ridiculously entertaining, even if the music isn't really your cup of tea.

he said, "artist name/title/whatever you're going to call him/her."
1.) solo artist 2.) why would he say title unless the name included a title, or was a title. Its a little odd, and he didnt use "title" when referring to any artists in the past in his hints. 3.) might imply alusions to 2 genders by him/her. Why not say them otherwise instead?
Or people were using titles with the word "dead" in them way too much for him to not say something? Remember that we're not the only ones out there guessing this junk. Just the most important ones.
Also agree about the solo artist thing. It was something that immediately occurred to me when I saw the hint and I'm a selfish a-hole for not sharing it. Or whatever.

also perhaps the him/her could imply a guy/girl combo. Immediately Matt & Kim would come to mind or Phantogram.

1) Agreed, think it's definitely a solo artist or a singer/songwriter with a stage name like Bon Iver or Iron & Wine.
2) I think 'title' could just be referring to the artist's stage name.
3) I personally think 'him/her' was just so he wouldn't give away whether it was a man or a woman, which further drives home that we're looking at a solo artist or singer/songwriter.
The androgyny/split personalities angle is interesting though, Gaga would certainly fit that.
