Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am thinking Jack has to be a add. He lives in TN so it is not a huge deal when it comes to travel. Most of all it would really shock me since he is releasing his 1st solo project and not playing Roo. It is just such a perfect match. It would make no sense for him not to be there
Every year there seems to be one big name act that everyone is convinced will be at Bonnaroo who doesn't end up on the bill, but who subsequently ends up on next year's lineup. In '10, it was Neil Young. Last year, it was Black Star. Maybe this year, that guy is Jack White.
Or maybe he's just waiting until he finds the right kind of timber to build his stage with to announce he's playing this year.

Those 4 shows are the only reason why I'm hoping they are added. Maybe they didn't want to steal the thunder from those shows (2 are in Tennessee) and also Jack would be the biggest addition in a while IMO.
Damn.
Now you have my hopes up.
Also, I believe at least the Chattanooga show is a venue booked by AC entertainment.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
I'm hope they are waiting for his 2 tennessee shows to go on sale and sell out before they announce him. I don't think its too likely but I guess its possible.

Yes indeed. From their site: track29.co/about "Track29 hosts a hugely diverse array of artists, appealing to many different tastes. AC Entertainment, the same company that brings you Bonnaroo, Moogfest, and Forecastle also books the national acts that visit our venue."
This explains why we now get the hottest acts instead of the washed-up has-beens of the music industry...'bout damn time!

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Seriously. This is classic post 2007 BD. An artist that most people think there is a very good chance will be added, just vague enough that he can claim it is a prediction is it happens or that it wasn't if it doesn't
In 2007 he was able to find the poster before it was officially released. Basically the web developer didn't lock the page it was on and he found it. No inside info

Musical Renaissance man Jack White has already had the honor of performing on “Saturday Night Live” but it wasn’t until last night that he performed his first full live solo set at the third birthday celebration for his self-owned label, Third Man Records (via Jam Canoe).
The multi-instrumentalist showcased 19 tracks spanning his career nicely, which included songs by The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather (never realized how much he likes “The” before his band names), as well as six new cuts off his forthcoming debut album Blunderbuss.
Keeping it low-key at his label’s headquarters in Nashville for the gig, White’s audience consisted of a couple hundred critics, music industry insiders, fellow bandmates and contest winners. In true White fashion, invites were found on cardboard volvelle wheels. The reception area for VIPs took place in the Third Man complex’s lounge, which was decorated with giant stuffed animals and dinosaur skulls strewn around White’s old-school office door, which strangely reads “John A White III, DDS: Family Dentistry." (Not the craziest thing to hear considering his appearance on “American Pickers.”)
White kicked his set off with the Stripes' classic ’01 track “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” followed by three Blunderbuss cuts – “Missing Pieces,” “Sixteen Saltines” “and “Love Interruption," his new single that he rocked on “SNL.”
He then went on to cover Raconteurs territory with “Top Yourself” before changing it up with a Dead Weather track, “Blue Blood Blues.” However, plenty of fan favorite hits were also covered, including “Seven Nation Army,” “My Doorbell,” Dead Weather’s “Cut Like a Buffalo” and Raconteurs’ “Steady as She Goes.”
Singer for The Dead Weather (and The Kills, of course) Allison Mosshart was spotted in the audience as well as The Raconteurs bassist Jack Lawrence, cheering their bandmate on.
