If Bill Ward isn't there, then I can see why Black Sabbath isn't listed first.
Also, the Tribune said there is no Perry's Stage anymore and that electronic will be spread out across the festival. This is why Bassnectar is so high on the list, he'll probably headline one night.

Does anyone know when they release the day-by-day schedule or at least who is playing what days? I really want to see Black Sabbath and they are the only headliner I haven't seen or will not have seen by Lolla but I do not think I will make it for Friday so if they are playing on Friday I will probably just skip all together.

Not to be contrarian, but this Tribune announcement says that Perry's will be bigger. And that the entire original Sabbath lineup is playing, including Ward.
Serious lulz at RHCP and Black Keys being billed above the one US Black Sabbath reunion show. What a joke!
I don't know most of the bands on the undercard, gonna be awesome finding random awesome shite.
The thing that has me feeling alright about Chinatown is that so many Inforooers have rooms booked there. I think we should set it up to where if some people get screwed they can stay with others and vice versa. Def down for trading some numbers to make sure no one has problems. The rooms are mainly gonna be for blacking out anyways.
A few friends and i are thinking about going. We might be able to get a hotel room. However, if my other friends don't go. I would be very interested in possibly giving someone money to help lower hotel bills, in return for sharing their hotel room. If this does end up happening can someone please keep me updated.
In other news. I think this line up is awesome, slightly jealous. Almost better than Roo in my eyes, but Roo has Radiohead....... and come on... its Radiohead
Lolla goes along with Coach in the sense that it does seem to be more hip, but Roo consistently delivers a more well rounded lineup. Imo. Lolla does look great though, the under card is stacked.

The Black Keys are playing Friday, Sabbath would be Saturday or Sunday
My theory on the billing order: RHCP - 6 grammies Black Keys - 3 grammies Black Sabbath - 1 grammy Apparently the number of those "prestigious" awards is directly correlated to how much money you can request to play.

Continuing the increasingly heavy dance-music theme of past summers, two electronic acts for the first time will headline the main stages: 22-year-old Swedish DJ/producer Avicii (Tim Bergling) and French electronic duo Justice.
It's a solid lineup for sure, but there are only handful of bands on there that I wish Roo had or that I wont be seeing in Nashville. Washed Out, The Weeknd and Sigur Ros are the highlights.
EDIT: And I'll throw Justice and Avicii in there as well.
I have been incredibly spiteful toward Lolla for years, especially since I've heard how lame the crowd can be. I'm so anti-Lolla that it's actually pretty stupid. This line-up is its revenge bitchslap. I think I might have to go or suffer a deep, dark depression.

I was betting on Garbage and Kanye/The Throne (seriously Lolla? Way to drop the ball on that one.) to be there, but I'm definitely not disappointed. I could definitely do without RHCP and Black Keys as headliners (again), but that undercard is stacked. After you factor in the crazy aftershows, I'm totally sold.
So is Perry's happening again?! It's not listed on the website...
"Well, dance music is a passion of Lollapalooza," Farrell told MTV News. "We have a stage called Perry's that became a tent, and I told them 'Don't put a tent on that thing, it's going to burst at the seams' ... and sure enough it has. We don't have a Perry's tent anymore; Perry's area, however, is in the wide open, under the stars and the moon and you can dance amongst the trees."
