And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
The official lolla board is doing a meet up Thursday night at some place called Gingerman? My plan is to just go there if I can't get into the Twin Shadow/Neon Indian/Passion Pit Dj show.

Perry's was almost always packed out last year, so the bigger stage is a great idea. Surprised they didn't do an enormous video-screens-on-the-ceiling tent like Coachella did for their dance tent though.

I've looked at like six different forecasts for the weekend and they're all pretty different. The one consensus seems to be at some point Saturday it's going to downpour.
I have a great times at the Mid and I've been annoyed at the Mid, it is what you make of it.
It's pretty small, has kind of an odd setup, and has an "interesting" crowd / security crew. However, it is very nice / new inside, has a GREAT sound-system, and can be a great place to see a show.
Also, if you did the RSVP thing I would expect a long line and the possibility of a sell out, its not very big.
Eat the burgers from Kuma & sushi from Kamehachi at the fest. Schubas on Belmont is the best sounding club in Chi. I'd be at War on Drugs on Fri & Gary Clark on Sat if ya can get in. Or the Empty Bottle in Ukrainian Village for Indie-Punk. Can't believe Phi's COS article listed The Hungry Brain as a go-to bar. That was my spot back in the day.
Have one 3-day pass for sale for $300.................any interest, and I can give u my number, or e mail.
I am from Columbus, Ohio, and will be touching down in Chi Town around 6 or 7pm Thursday evening.......can meet anywhere in the city( Wrigley is best) on Thurs evening..............
