Great start with the leaks. Just really hoping Jack White doesn't take up a headlining spot. I love Dead Weather, Raconteurs, and White Stripes. But honestly, not really digging his solo stuff too much. Also, I just feel like one album does not make a headliner... But since he headlined Hangout, I'm sure he'll take up one of the spots =/

I think it's pretty safe to say that he'll be a headliner, he's also headlining Sasquatch.

I agree that "one album does not make a headliner", but this is Jack White. If some no-name artist had put out the exact same album as Blunderbuss, no one would give two fucks.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
If Black Sabbath isn't added...I'm gonna need Beck, At the Drive-In, Leonard Cohen, AND Sigur Rós to justify this trip. Otherwise, I'll prolly have ticket for sale.

Good news, he's pulling material from 12 albums, not one!

Seriously. Anyone who still doubts if Jack White will be a headliner obviously hasn't seen his setlists.
You know, I actually had not seen his setlist. I looked it up because of your post and now I am pretty pumped for some Jack White lol. I take back my previous statement. Right on sir.
Unless the lineup somehow blows donkeydick I'm gonna be going......never been and I'm trying to hit up new fests/venues this year.
Hoping for Sabbath, and I see it as pretty likely since they are only doing one US show this year, in August. Unless they do a one-off Ozzfest somewhere.
I'm so ready for this lineup to drop. I won't have to worry about lineups anymore until Voodoo fest....

You're expectations are really unreasonable.
Yeah, that's absurd. You'd be extremely lucky to get 2 of those acts.
I realize that is highly unlikely, but If I do go to lolla I would be spending like over a $1000 (plane, ticket, hotel, etc). I'm fuucking bailing quick as a mug if Metallica and Kanye are the other headliners is all I'm sayin'. I would've rather invested in a Roo or Coachella ticket than see that mess, since I'm already seeing Jack White at Hangout.
Black Sabbath | Kanye West | Sigur Ros The Black Keys | Jack White | Justice Florence + The Machine | The Weeknd | The Shins
Sigur Ros...as a headliner? Justice on the second line? The Weeknd on the third line?
Aren't Metallica and Beck heavily rumored for this? Wouldn't they be first and second line, respectively?
Metallica's in Mexico City August 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 9th. Not impossible I guess but I wouldn't bet on it. Outside Lands might be more likely.
Ugh i really want to go to this with the Justice, M83, Jack White and Sigur Ros all rumored or confirmed or whatever it is you are all speculating. Just wish i didn't need to get a Hotel room, i feel like that adds up so much, and i'd rather camp like Bonnaroo instead. Ugh! Decisions!!!

You realize that headliners oppose one another each night, right? And that in addition to mainstage headliners, there are usually one or two other options? Or are you saying you won't go because of the "element" those acts would draw?
Either way, as mentioned above, the chances of Metallica showing up amidst those Mexico City shows are approximately 0.05%. I think there's a good chance you're gonna have to deal with a rapper or two on the top line, though.

Just so I'm clear - Megadeth and Van Halen = good, but Metallica and Kanye = bad? I can safely ignore your opinions now.
Megadeth and Van Halen shows are withing a reasonable driving distance (<hour and a half) and I've never seen them. I only like pre-black album Metallica and Kanye is a summers breeze in a sac. I would go see them though if I didn't have to spend a grand to do so. However, in their prime: Van Halen > Megadeth > Metallica

No, I am saying I wouldn't go because if I am gonna buy a gotdamn plane ticket to see a festival, I want it to be one that I would hate myself if I missed it. I wasn't aware that Metallica had the Mexico City conflicts until today, I was just picking out my two least favorite rumored headliners.
I'm pretty sure RHCP and Black Keys are going to be Top 3 along with either Sabbath or some version of Kanye &/or JayZ. Jack White has 4th or 5th billing written all over it.
When asked if there would be another EDM headliner this year (in reference to Deadmau5 last year), Perry tweeted that there would be 2 electronic headliners this year. That could be Avicii and Justice (although they're debatable as a main stage headliner). Swedish House Mafia is heavily rumored despite one of those button-mashers being overseas the Saturday of Lolla. Based on an article by Kot, good money is on an electronic headliner closing one of the 2 largest stages OR a mid-sized stage each night.
