Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
After doing some social media assignments tonight, I'll have about 4,200 points saved up. Are you only able to see rewards that are close to your point range? I'm guessing that passes to festivals require an extremely high amount of points? Do you absolutely have to do poster runs to be able to save up enough points for passes or is it possible to do it by doing the various social media orders throughout the year?
i joined right after bonnaroo last year, and i have 23,000 points as of now. all of those are just from social media shares. i don't know that i'll make it to 32,000 by the time tickets get put up, but pretty close for only sharing things.

Cool. If I could even cut the cost of going to Bonnaroo by half, that would be sweet!
Second round of Forecastle posters are up in the store right now! That was short notice.
I signed up to do 2 cities. Only been in the system for 2 weeks now and have about 3500 points, without using Instagram yet. With the posters I'd be at around 13500 points. I'm not sure I can still make up the remaining 2500 or so (16k for a ticket, right?) with so little time left, so I guess I need to figure out Instagram and stay on top of things.
So far things have been very easy, and well worth my time. Would I be right to assume that points can carry over from year to year? I've got other questions, but I just found this thread, so I need to go over it all.

Yeah points will carry over to next year. If you can get a show to handbill you'll be set. 2,500 is a lot to get with just social media but with WayHome and Sloss in the mix now it may be possible.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm going to be cutting it close this year because I started so late. But I've taken the Instagram plunge and found that Regrann is sooper easy to use, so assuming I get the points for my two poster runs I'm only 2000 short now. I haven't seen any handbilling in my area but maybe I'll luck out with that or we'll get a bunch more social media orders in the next few weeks.
*fingers crossed* My health and finances are better than at this time last year, so I was sort of planning on buying a ticket, but if I can score one through Street Team stuff that would be better of course, and I could definitely pack lighter and spend a bit more on food and beer on the farm.
Next question... have any of y'all ever used points to get tickets at local venues? I ordered one for Jason Isbell at Track 29 tomorrow night and it just says "processing". Hopefully I can just show up at will call and get it squared away.

I just used points to see Father John Misty last month. I believe it said processing till the day before the show. Contact them and ask about it.
I haven't received any posters yet. :/ I have Forecastle and Roo on order and it's going to take a while to get them out. I hope the arrive this weekend!
My posters came in today! And now that I have all 200 posters sitting in front of me I'm realizing that this was a lot to sign up for. Fortunately this is earning me another ticket that I'm giving to my friend, so I told her she has to help if she wants her ticket.....
My Roo ones arrived, I think I'm going to wait for Forecastle to come in so I can try to get them all out at once next weekend.
There is actually a forecastle college one available for Cincinnati, which is where I'm doing one of my Bonnaroo ones. I'm debating if I should order it or not because I'm afraid it won't come in by time the Roo ones are due and I don't want to make 2 trips to hang posters. (It's a 2hr drive).
Edit: actually there are 2 colleges in Cinci available... That may be worth it's own trip if they don't come in time.

Still waiting for mine - I'm doing Forecastle in Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I'm much closer to Cleveland but in between the two, and downtown Pittsburgh is only 90 minutes or so away. I think I'm off of work next Saturday, so I'll try to get Pittsburgh done then. Cleveland will just be whatever evening the weather is nice. After those runs I'm only 900 points short of a Roo ticket! Gonna be close...
Now to figure out how far out is legitimately considered "Cleveland." The U. of Akron and Kent State would be convenient, and neither is covered by any other market. Should I check with someone official first, or is anywhere in the typical Cleveland TV/advertising/sports/whatever market fair game? I might be going downtown Tuesday for the Cavs game anyway, so that could be a good time to hit E. 4th, CSU, Case, Midtown, and whatever, but Akron and Kent are much more convenient. In Pittsburgh I only know a couple of the colleges and the bar/entertainment district, but that will probably do just fine.

Damn, you do many more runs and you'll have enough points to perform at roo
Tickets will be up in the store starting Thursday, April 23 at 12 noon EST. Please get your ticket purchases in ASAP so I can start a solid headcount of how many street team tickets we will need. Please try not to wait until the last day to order your tickets. The last day to order Bonnaroo tickets will be Friday, May 8 at 4pm EST-- NO EXCEPTIONS.
Tickets are limited to 2 per person. Cost will be the same as last year - 16,000 points.
Once again, PLEASE triple check the accuracy of your name, address, and e-mail in your purchase. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information, and we will not be held responsible if tickets are sent to the wrong address because you did not list it correctly. Please check this information BEFORE you place your ticket order.
If you have any questions, please post them in the forum.
May 8th is the deadline?!? How long does it normally take them to process poster run points? Bc the deadline for the poster runs is may 4th isn't it?
There is zero harm in sending a message to the community manager to double check. They were a HUGE help when my posters never got mailed, and again when I missed the deadline for the poster run by a few hours.
Well luckily I have to get them done this week anyways. I'm doing my Cinci ones on Saturday I just don't know when I'm doing the Columbus ones. Hopefully either this Thursday or Friday. Next Friday is Hall & Oates then I graduate Saturday. So I really need to do it this weekend. Hopefully my Forecastle ones come in before Saturday tho so I can get it all done at once. That'd be nice.
If something happens tho I will def email them about it. The 16k points from these runs are my friend's ticket so I def need those points before the deadline.

Any idea about an ETA for the Forecastle posters? I was thinking we'd have them by now, and I really need want to do my Pittsburgh run Saturday.

You don't have to do a poster run. I just started doing the social media tasks in January and have 15,000 points at the moment. Even without my poster run I should be able to make it to 16,000.
