Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Yeah, it can't hurt. I asked about a poster run in my direct area. They said that it isn't possible because poster run locations are based on past ticket sales, but I could take 25 from each run and poster the colleges in my area.

Why didn't I start doing this earlier. I could be thinking about going to Forecastle right now.
Just completed a slew of orders, I am turning over a new leaf with money management and I hope this is a good system to be able to save money on festivals.
i've officially passed the 32,000 mark! as long as nothing changes, i've got two free tickets for next year. i finally got my bf to sign up so he can work towards a ticket too. i'll probably cover my sister since she's working 16 hour days all summer and understandably doesn't want to bother with this stuff.

If they'll give you passwords, you can always go in and complete orders for everyone (if you have the inclination).

Brad has never done an order himself. Not one. Has never done a poster route either, even though he has signed up for multiple ones. Yet he earns enough points for two tickets to Bonnaroo every year.

I noticed that there is a referral link and it keeps track if someone signs up through your link. But it doesn't look like you get anything for it. Anyone know anything about that?

I think it just counts toward your activity points on the AC fan corps site (which determine your military-style rank), but not toward the points you earn toward a ticket or merch. So no real incentive as far as I know.

It looks like you get 20 points for each referral. I have referred five people & have 100 referral points. If you go to profile/profile activity (not on app), it shows the breakdown of points.

Ha! That's not really worth it, but exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks!
Offering 20 points is like, "I'll give you a nickel if you make me a sandwich." That's not even worth the effort to log in, wait for the site to load, and retrieve the link.

I've been slacking so hard on ST since coming back from Roo. Gotta get back on that.
Me too, I think I did like 17 orders tonight, and I'm almost halfway to next year's Roo ticket. The Instagram orders have been kind of a pain since the FanCorps app crashes every time I try to upload a proof now, making for a more involved process. I guess I shouldn't complain since the work is minimal, but a less ridiculously slow site and an app that actually works would both be nice to have.

It absolutely is! The social media orders are easy and plentiful and you can do them whenever is convenient for you. I've done two poster runs, and while neither fit my personal definition of fun, they were absolutely worth the time spent, and I walked enough that they qualified as good exercise. Plus I got to see parts of Pittsburgh that I was not familiar with and was quite impressed by.

so you're the culprit who stole the pittsburgh orders!!!

Yep, I did one for Forecastle because I needed the points in a hurry. With any luck I won't feel a need to do Pittsburgh next year, so it's all yours. Too much black'n'yellow around there anyway, so I'll stick to Cleveland.
Or maybe I'll be quick and steal a Columbus order.
