Well it looks like the orders are slowing down....
With them not having a fall festival, the orders will slow down significantly for the next several months. They will start to pick back up again at the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016 (can't remember which) when they start the hype train for next year's festivals.

I looked at my "Account Activity" and since I joined the street team (2013) the orders pick back up late October early November. And your right it is a hype train, I was getting 5,000+ points a month for December and January.
All this talk about the survey and them possibly charging for camping makes me a little nervous to see what will change for us Street Teamers. I don't see tix staying at 16,000 points anymore.

I am not so much worried about the price for tickets moving far off the neighborhood of 16k points for reasons I have elaborated on before. What I would be worried about is that if they make all camping/preferred camping/etc. an additional pass because it would be doubtful that you could get that pass through street team much like you cannot currently get a RV/VIP/Groop pass through Street Team. In short, your ticket for the festival would still be 16k points, but you would have to drop $75+ on a camping pass out of your pocket.

This is what I'd be most worried about as well.. And the direction it sounds like they're heading, it's not out of the question.

Does anyone know if you can sign up for more than one Handbilling assignments when they are announced. There are so many opportunities in Atlanta and no one is signing up for them .
is it pretty much guaranteed that you can get bonnaroo tickets if you have enough points? i don't want to deal with presale again if i don't have to.
So far, yes. I don't recall them ever capping the number of street team wristbands for Roo. You do have to submit your request by a certain date. I've only been active the past 2-3 years, though.

Do you mean opportunities at different shows? I would assume as long as you would be able to do both orders.

Agreed. I don't recall there ever being a sold out date for Bonnaroo tickets aside from the deadline before the festival when they can't guarantee tickets shipping. I wouldn't expect one to ever really happen either since a) I can't imagine there are that many people who get them, b) it's their festival so it's not like they are gonna have to deal with a cap from the venue or organizer and c) anyone who gets a ticket has invested a decent amount of time in building up the points. imagine how pissed they would be if their year of effort went for nothing.

This might be a stupid question but I hope someone will answer. Is joining the ST worth it for people who live in New England? I feel like the opportunity for orders would be limited by the geographic areas.

I'm wondering the same for Toronto. I've been going to Roo since '05 and I've never seen anything in the city about it.

I think beebee has said before that she gets enough for a ticket as long as she does all the social media orders. When Bonnaroo comes around, they usually do poster routes in places up north, i.e. Philly and NYC stick out in my head right now.

there are rarely poster routes around pittsburgh, so i've gotten all of my points from social media orders. i started after bonnaroo 2014 and currently have over 37,000 points (enough for two tickets). my sister joined after bonnaroo this year and has almost 6,000 already. do it!

I've got enough points for a free ticket, but we're really wanting to do VIP next year. I asked this year if they would let us upgrade for a fee, and they said no. So my only option is to get the tickets anyway and sell them?! Anyone have experience with this?

When do the social media orders start picking up? I've only got around 2,000 points since I only started around august. I guess I'm going to have to do a poster run to get enough points in time for a ticket?

I started accumulating a ton of points last year during the Roo Clues. You'll also get quite a few promoting Big Ears in March. I accumulated enough for a ticket this year having started in October 2014 and never doing a poster run.
With social media orders if you start now you should be able to get enough points fer one free ticket. If you want two tickets though you would most likely need a poster route or two. Points carry over year after year so you can add 'em up.

There has not ever been a VIP upgrade option fer the street team and I doubt it will change. So yeah, in this case your best bet would be to earn the tickets and then resell them.
