Anyone else confused by the lack of orders currently? There have been several updates recently (brooers tent and the bourbon lodge for forecastle) that I would have thought warranted an order. Maybe I'm just desperate for those final points for my second ticket...

I got the orders last week for the "details coming soon" for the bourbon lodge, but nothing this week about the actual details. I'm getting nervous cause there's only about a month and a half left for me to get 3000 points. It's totally doable, cause I'm sure there'll be at least 10 updates that will generate orders, but I don't want to cut it that close.
Gotcha, I was just wondering how to post on Instagram through browser, or if there was a problem if I uploaded screenshots through it and not have a problem? But that totally helped! I only access the site to check my points and get the hand billing/poster runs, the very important stuff haha.
The app has never really worked right for me but you don't need it for Instagram. For FB and Twitter I use a laptop, just more convenient for me. For Instagram I use my phone, and a lot of us use apps like Regrann to speed up the process. Access slow-ass Fancorps site with browser (Chrome works), click on the Instagram post in the order and Instagram should open, then you can repost/share it. Then just take a screenshot (method varies by phone) and upload it as a proof through the browser tab you already had open. The whole process is a little clunky but not bad at all once you've done it a couple times.

I emailed Emily about only having 14.2k points, and no poster/campus runs for my area this year. Her response was "you only need 1800, I can't make promises but I don't think that will be a problem before 'roo.". So, take that as you will. There's still LN and additions announcements for roo, maybe even schedule too? Plus some big ears stuff after its over. Was hoping some orders would come in after the brooer email though.

Yes, there is more Forecastle, Wayhome, big ears and Sloss posts to come. Plus the superjam announcement, late night schedule, random additions and enough to get you 4K points or more if you keep up. Plus ooster run #2 next month. Going based on what they did last year.

Me too. Which is why I haven't done any orders this year since the announcement of the ambassador program. I have just over 16k points right now and I'm using that on a ticket for this year. I was banking on having enough points for my ticket for next year, but by the way things are shaking out, I'm not sure Roo will be included in street team next year. Which really, really, really sucks, since I can't imagine that I'll actually be able to afford it on my own anymore.
Is ticket 16,000 or 18,000 points? I figure for Roo we should have Comedy tent, cinema tent, superjam, schedule, maybe late night acts. Each of those should have 3 orders each for a total of 1500. Plus anything Forecastle, Big Ears, Sloss, and hopefully Wayhome

that's a good point. If the ambassador thing doesn't work out they may keep street team. The problem is that having the ambassador program doesn't really hurt them in anyway. You either sell a bunch of tickets for them which outweighs your free ticket, or you don't and don't get the free ticket. Which obviously doesn't affect them either. Street team hurts them more in that aspect since exposure for Roo isn't really needed as much at this point, and that's all street teamers do for a free ticket.
Regardless, if I still lived in Ohio and could attend the smaller fests (like FC) then I'd keep doing it for those. But it really does nothing for me here. I may pick up some social media orders again, but def not postering.

Yup. Hasn't worked in a couple weeks for me. I've had to use the website.
I haven't been street teaming this year because it would just make me sad that I am not making it to Roo, but I never used an app. I always did it Dave's way. Easy peasy.

I got one for the Bob Moses addition, Forecastle stuff, Bonnayou and etc. It's seemed pretty standard to me.
I'm going to be doing my first poster run soon, for Sloss Fest. Can some vets give me some tips? What do you use to hang the posters (tape? staple gun? used gum?) I already figure I'll hit up some bars, restaurants, and the local college student commons. What other kinds of places do you recommend? And are people ever jerks about hanging posters in their establishments?
