I signed up for both days... I haven't done this before, so is it basically just handing them out to whoever will take them? What do you do to prove you didn't just toss them?

Yeah, I think they could go pretty quick since things are starting at 1:30pm. I would just go to the pit lines at What. Everyone there could probably use one. Lastly, doing something official-ish directly after Brunch. What could go wrong?
My major trepidation is the timing. 1:30 is right at Bombino on Friday and I would need to run to Death Grips Saturday :/ I might email and see if they could contemplate bumping up the time an hour.. that way less conflicts [for I assume most people]
I do think they would go quickly.. and people will walk up to when I paint.. hard choice on days though. Feel like this decision needs to be made pretty immediately
Death Grips is at 2:15. You'll be fine. Actually, the 1:30 time works out pretty alright for me, but I know Bombino is a big deal for you. Emailing them would be a good idea as I am sure they could figure out something for you.

OH. Okay, I'm an idiot. These are actual fans? I don't know what I was thinking.... I thought it was some street team lingo.
Excuse my stupidity.
(just for the record, I wasn't planning on trashing them, regardless of if they were flyers or fans. Though I'm still curious about what is needed for proof of handing them out.)
Anyone else have issues registering their wristband? Tells me my 16 digit code is invalid...
Also make sure you only entered the bottom line (I actually missed one letter for about 20 minutes.... if it doesn't change the message I would recommend contacting Musictoday via e-mail at bonnarootix@musictoday.com or call 1-800-594-TIXX

Not stupid, hahah I'm sure they've thought about it too and just decided the honor system is better anyway. Never thought you would, just being general...
I thought I read that you have to send in a picture of yourself giving out the fans as your proof? Or was that just a dream?
krissyjo too. You are correct, I had to look into the website (not in the emails at all), but in the rewards section for it: "Proof required will be a text proof and a photo of you "handfaning" at the festival."
I'm not sure what text proof would even mean? but the one photo seems easy as cake

Got Saturday but missed Friday. Hopefully the proof isn't going to be due immediately, cell service can be a bitch and I don't even know how to send a pic on my dumb phone.

Not sure if you prefer either of the two days, but would you consider a trade off? I'm thinking I want to do it on Sat. instead of Fri. but I jumped so I wouldn't miss the offer.
I just signed up to handbill for Forecastle at a little festival in town. Can anybody tell me what exactly they are looking in the photos and texts I'm supposed to send as proof?

The photo(s) probably is just a pic of a few people with the handbill. The text we are shaky on for handbilling -- I assume just a general "I was in this section of the fest/concert and handed out about x amount"
Just signed up for Friday; I'm running over straight from Reptar, getting rid of these flyers in like, 20 minutes, then running to What for Local Natives. I believe . See yall there.

Normally I'd have no problem but last year I wasn't in the best possible shape after brunch so I should probably just stick with what I've got.

When I tried registering my wristbands I kept getting a "ticket not found error." After emailing them it turns out my wristbands hadn't been activated yet. They fixed it and finally got registered.

Basically text is "I went to _____ show and handed out handfans, then went over to ______ and handed out about X more." Have someone snap a couple photos handing them out, where you said you were.

Don't forget to submit your pics and text for the handfanning, kids. Both my orders for that got approved pretty quickly. I am only ~1 month in, and I am already at 6k points out of a probable 16k needed for a Roo ticket.
So, how often do they offer new orders? I did all the available ones yesterday and they're still "under review".
It varies depending on all that they have going on from what I have read. About them being "under review", that also seems to vary too depending on how busy the street team coordinators are.
