FYI guys there are a couple of new orders on the site that expire tomorrow. And any idea when we may hear more about Big Ears?
They said "the coming weeks" on July 1st. Unfortunately, in AC talk, that means anywhere between now and October. I would say the likelihood of getting news will be a little higher once they get past Forecastle reflection week.
This my first year doing this!!!! But does anyone have a list of the previous markets/areas in TN that have poster runs. I live in Winchester TN (Franklin County) 30 mins from Manchester TN, I work in Tullahoma TN (Coffee County), and I DJ in areas covering from Huntsville, AL to Nashville TN. And I live about 30 mins from The University of The South in Sewannee TN. Thanks for any input.

I ordered one for Abra since they were all out of ones for fatasses (thanks, @ntellier85). If we get it, great. If not, it's not like I am out any money or anything.
katbur2, I would expect dates for Big Ears before MOEMS, but I doubt they do much booking before then. It all kind of hinges on when in the late Winter/Spring they decide to put it.
At 12pm ET on Monday, they'll be offering the poster runs. At that time, I will be finishing up a meeting at work and heading to another one. How fast do those things go? Probably not going to be any offered near me anyway.

Posting statuses and tweets seems to only give 100 points now instead of 200. Should make it WAYYYY harder for some people this year.
Regardless, I'm 75% of the way there just from posting stuff from the last year or so. Assuming I post 40 other things at 100 points each and do two poster runs, maybe I'll have enough points for both me and a friend/future boyfriend-who-i've-never-met-yet to go for free. It'd certainly be nice to have a buddy this year.

I noticed that change too. They may have realized they were giving away too much stuff for amount of work done, or it wasn't reaching enough or something. The poster runs certainly do help. I will make enough for mine easily unless something goes terribly wrong. I would really like to pull enough for a second ticket though.
Unless they offer a poster run or two in Birmingham, I'm probably going to cut it reeeeeeally close to even one ticket. I'm a little more than halfway to enough points for one ticket. This is why I don't waste any opportunity to earn points
Don't worry too much about the points yet. The status for after the fests are new. Hopefully they'll do the playlists again this winter, 400 points a piece and easy peasy
The nice thing is they are posting orders for daily recaps of the festies! Plus just think of all the opportunities you'll have next summer up until the time to purchase tickets!

I signed up with Fancorps the other day...figured wth I'll give it a try. I've read through this thread and will probably have a few questions for all you veterans. The first one being about those poster runs......I'm guessing I'll have to get my points from fb/twitter posts only, 'cuz I live smack dab in the middle of Illinois (Peoria) and I doubt there are any point raising runs around here. Though, I am close to several universities/colleges....Illinois State, Bradley and Illinois Wesleyan. Anyone know?

I don't recall any specific IL routes, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. And if a poster route isn't picked up fer a particular area they have been known to change posterin' locations. If the points needed stay the same this comin' year I'll be set. But I'm gonna try fer a second ticket (fer a friend or giveaway).

If any of those are near a major city then it counts as postering in the city. I put up posters in Philadelphia suburbs on college campuses, I live around a 30 minute drive from Philly. Got credit for both poster runs.

I don't know my IL geography as well as I should but there will be runs for Bonnaroo in IL. Two pieces of advice, sign up to promote all of the festivals, many more points are available that way. When it's poster time act fast! Good luck and have fun

Is anyone else having problems uploading pictures today? I shared those Mtn Oasis party photos. When I go to upload the screenshot (a png file), it loads, says complete then snaps back to saying "choose file to upload" without loading the screenshot.

Cancel that. It wouldn't load pictures last night. This morning, the page wouldn't load at all. This afternoon, everything is fine.
