Hate to beat a dead horse here but just read on the ticket info from the site that they are doing the RFID wrist bands again this year. Maybe, this year they will tie them in to cloth bands but this is just wishful thinking. I hate those plastic wristbands with a passion.
I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.

I missed last year. I heard you can link a CC to the RFID in your bracelet, is that true? If so did you guys do so? How'd it work out? I don't like having all that cash at roo

It might help if you imagine yourself to be the Patrick McGoohan character, Number Six, from "The Prisoner" television series, with the farm being the Village.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I too missed last year, but was reading that they scan those each time you enter and exit Centeroo, is that true? If so, how sucky was that?
you just walk threw a little metal detactor thing and put your wrist up against a sign. it wasnt like they had scan guns and one by one scanned people wrists.

Correct you are. the only day it was awful was Friday - not sure what the issue was... (security possibly doing thorough inspections?) but it took over an hour to get into Centeroo. The rest of the time it was a breeze.

Security checks are more strict usually at the beginning and slack off as the weekend goes on. Also, the lines can get really backed up if you hit it during a popular time to come in.

From what I read, it had never been that bad, is that correct? The only day I put up a fight about emptying my camelbak was on Friday - standing in line for an hour and walking from Pod 11, that water was sacred at the time!
I'm sure I'll find a way...I do at every concert I go to, it's just harder to do the less clothes you have on! lol
Depends on what line you go to as well. I noticed that when I had a female security guard checking my things she did a much more thorough check. The times I jumped in line with a guy checking, he let me through w/out checking anything.

There's such a varied result from different people that it's hard to say. Some people get the full cavity search. Some get a glance and waved through. Personally, I'm a bad indicator as I look super legit, so my searches are usually light.

I had about the same luck you did, aside from the two times they made me empty everything and take everything out of my bag. My poor husband got nailed every time we went into Centeroo. I was carrying most of our things each day yet they made him empty his pockets a few times Guess he's the type that's "curious" looking lol

Truth. I kinda ask for it what with the full beard, long hair, and (past 10pm) crazy eyes. I am who I am though! A big smile and a thank you will usually get you by without too much hassle.

It all depends on who you get. Some guys take their job way seriously and some guys just glance quick at your stuff.
