Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'd say probably Half Acre is our biggest beer that is only distributed in Chicago. Right now they can an IPA, Wheat ale, pils, and a golden ale. Two brothers is another local that does some summer ales, and lighter stuff that I think is just in Chicago as well.
I am going on a Heady Topper run on Monday or Tuesday. I will try to get some if people want them, but I don't really have any beers on my wishlist, though.
If anyone wants a four-pack and wants to PayPal me or gimme cash at Roo, I will happily pic some up for you.
I'm down for this! Tennessee does not have many breweries that can, much less any you would want in exchange. I can gladly paypal or cash at Roo!
GRR! I cant't find Founder's All Day IPA in cans anywhere, just stupid bottles! One more spot to check tomorrow.
Otherwise a pretty good setup I feel. Still gotta pick up my standard suitcase of Yuengling though.
Also really wish the stupid amazin' Dogfish Head 61 Minute IPA came in cans as it would be perfect in 'Roo weather. Might have to try and sneak some in!

Okay, I finally did get around to taking stock of my beer buying frenzy the other day. Here's what I'm bringing:
Sterling Lager (In the pop-top cans) - Louisville Shofferhofer Grapefruit - German Shlafly Summer Lager - St. Louis West 6th Lemongrass Wheat - Lexington, KY West 6th Brown Ale - Lexington, KY Oscar Blues Ten Fidy - Brevard, NC
We lack for good breweries in Kentucky, much less those that can. But I think you'll like what I brought and hopefully take pity on me (but not really, we make up for it with lots and lots of bourbon).

I will let you (and those who have PMed me) know what I am able to obtain and what the pecking order is when I have beer in hand

Here is my haul of cans I just picked up for the trip. A little bit of everything listed here. Im obviously coming from Florida...
Cigar City Jai Alai IPA Cigar City Hotter Than Helles Lager Cigar City Florida Cracker Wit Cigar City White Oak Jai Alai Cigar City/Great Lake Brewing Wandering Pelican Black Ale Oskar Blues Deviant Dales Oskar Blues Mammas Lil Yella Pils Mikeller Keeper Pils
I am planning on making it to brunch this year. Looking forward to sharing/trading with you all there.
I also have quite a bit of other beers cellared as well. If anyone is interested in smuggling some rare bottles to trade PM me with what you have and maybe we can work out a trade.
I don't know too many places around downtown, the local store here in Mt Juliet does a fantastic job of keeping a very nice variety and special ordering specific beers. Craft Brewed is a nice little place where you can find some tasty beers and they have a wine/liquor/high gravity store there now, but I haven't checked that out. CraftBrewedNashville.com 2502 Franklin Pike Nashville, Tennessee, 37204-2714 phone: (615) 873-1992
If it hasn't been said yet and you have time in Nashville, be sure to check out Yazoo!!
A big +1 for All Day IPA, had my first one last week (at Craft Brewed actually) and it was most delicious
I plan on loading one cooler with ice and beer after I get into Tennesee. Heading down I65 from the north to I24. Any liquor stores with good selections of canned beers right off the interstate? Thanks for any time saving tips on stores--hell, I'm already anxious to get there!
Craft Brewed really isn't that far off your route (neither is Frugal Macdoogal), just hop on 65 S for 1 exit to 440 and that hooks up with 24. It is a smaller place, but you can taste a lot of the beers before you buy. Like I said I haven't been in the liquor section, but it sounds like that will be more small batch type stuff, not your typical store. I guess it may depend on your route through Nashville though. Other Nashville folks may have some other options, I almost always stick to the local store out East of Nash where I live.
Stone River Total beverages 1 mile off of 24 looks like it will work.
Total Beverage is a solid choice. Used to go there when I lived in Murfreesboro. Not sure about their can selection, but they'll have something to choose from I'm sure.
Edit: I used to get Ranger IPA and Torpedo in cans there, but the higher alcohol beers are in the liquor side

I work at a liquor store in Indiana and we just got a TON of All Day in cans. Planned on bringing some down myself if you want some. Also bringing a lot of stuff from Sun King brewery with me as well if anyone is interested in those.

You drive through Worcester/Northeast CT on the way there/back?

Stopped by Total Beverage this weekend. Took a picture of everything they had in cans. Bought the all day IPA and proceeded to drank said all day IPA all day and lost my phone. Guy said his manager is preparing for Bonnaroo and they had yet to receive their bulk order.
From the top of my head, they have in cans: Founders All day and Centennial Jackalope Thunderann and Love Bird Wheat Rogue American Ale Good People IPA, Brown, and Pale Ale Straight to Ale Monketnaught, Lilly Flag, Light House Red Hook Long Hammer IPA Terrapin Recreationale All of the Butternuts brewery There was a lot more but I am drawing a blank.
I'm interested, will be nice and only request two. I may also be interested in stuff from down South and the Midwest we can't get here in New England, on your way back up.
I'm right off 395 in Connecticut, and fairly close to the Mass Pike and 295 in Rhode Island.
that is the order you guys indicated interest. Suggested price per 4-pack is $20, but if you can afford a bit more, I won't say no; I'm poor and this has been an undertaking (of love, but still)
if you want to paypal me in advance, it's cokes311@gmail.com (do it as a gift so they don't take a cut)
I will also happily take cash at Roo.
Either way, it's on you guys to come find me, ideally Thursday or Friday.
I will probably PM each of you a code word so it's all speakeasy-like and so none of these miscreants jump the queue

Went today to finish buying the rest of my beer/liquor…
Here's what I have:
12 16oz NOLA Mechahopzilla 4 16oz NOLA Hopitoulas 6 12oz Squatters Hop Rising 6 12oz Wasatch Ghostrider White IPA 1 case Bud Light 1 case Miller 1 fifth Tito's vodka
I don't expect to trade the fizzy yellow domestics for anything, unless of course somebody has a PBR they want to trade me (helps me reminisce on my punk rock and poor days)… Besides, the fizzy yellow stuff helps keep my buzz alive for cheap after the IBU's have put my taste buds to bed.

I'm pretty sure… Should I just start shouting "the internet" when I arrive at brunch?
Hell, depending on how full TO has gotten by the time I arrive there on Wednesday (6pm-ish hopefully), I might decide to set up there instead of my usual corner of TO for once. Besides, everybody else my wife and I usually camp with is either going VIP, or plans to be in Camp Inforoo.
