If anyone is coming from Colorado, I would love a 12 pack of Oscar Blues Old Chubb. I can bring some KC area based craft brew like Tallgrass or Mother's. Boulevard is obviously our best but you can get that anywhere now.
I can get Old Chubb here in Raleigh. Love that shit!
If anyone is coming from Huntsville or Birmingham, I would pay you for Good People Snake Handler. Or I could trade anything from Colorado.
Myself and bogart will be leaving from Birmingham. I've only ever seen the Good People IPA and Brown Ale in cans, but I don't live in Alabama anymore so that may have changed. I've had Snake Handler on tap before though and

I moved to Colorado from Alabama in January, and they had just started canning it when i moved.

Brooklyn carries some of their beers in cans as well. Has Sierra Nevada put their stuff out in cans yet? It is a good stand by for a beer snob, especially if you can find it in a can.
It's like 2 cases of beer, a box of wine, and a handle of liquor per person I think.
There may be a limit "on paper", but I have never ever heard of someone having problems. Maybe it's because we are Canadian, but each of us bring twice that amount, lol.

I'm working on a way to be able to bring homebrewed beer to Bonnaroo. Not sure the policy on commercial interests, so PM! If this post is an issue, mods, let me know and I'll remove it.

Stainless steel growler.
Amazon.com
64 ounces per. 20-35 dollars apiece. I was planning on doing a five gallon batch. Not quite liking the math on that. That's, like... Centeroo prices.
Then the cost of the growler will decrease with each use.
I use growlers now because I go to the local brew pub and have mine filled. In Atlanta, many of the craft beer stores also sale from the tap, and yiu can use yiur growlers there. I have glass ones also, but glass is a no no at roo.
I'm simply saying there are options. I mean, if you want to just put your beer in a cleaned out two liter, you can do that also.
I applaude your home brewing, many great brewers started just that way. Some people will hate on you who are in the industry because you don't have to follow patent rules like commercial brewers, whichi think is a stupid argument.
I just don't have the time to home brew when its so cheap, and a lot easier to hit the black horse or go to the flying saucer on the weekend. And I'm developing more of a taste for Kentucky Bourbon in my mid 30s.
Believe me, I will have my aluminum hip flask on me while in centroo.
You could use a tap a draft system or mini-kegs(party star) www.midwestsupplies.com/kegging/kegging-systems/mini-draft-systems.html (not the only place to get these)or DIY tap using mini kegs. forum.northernbrewer.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=61167 Used to be able to get Coors/Miller Home draft systems that could be refilled but I haven't seen those for a while. I will be bringing some homebrew as well. I haven't decided what I will do yet. Maybe just fill a few 2-liter bottles from a keg.

Yeah, kinda missing the point. I'm trying to start a homebrew supply biz selling 12oz aluminum bottles. That's why I mentioned the commercial interests and the PM. Again, mods, let me know if this isn't copacetic.

Based on estimates I've received, what I'm after won't work for this year, but NEXT for quacking certain. PM me if you'd like details.
Alabama folks: I'm going thru B-ham next month. Could you direct me to a grocery/liquor store to pick up some Good People? Thanks, David
It's available in alot of places. The places I know for sure have it would be Piggly Wiggly in Homewood (and I assume other pigs too?), any of the Western supermarkets (one in southside, Vestavia, and mountain brook, and, highland package store. I'm sure there are plenty of other places also.

I was lucky emoney's crew brought some Sixpoint to our camp last year. It also alerts me that sixpoint comes in cans -- first major buy for the cooler come June
Sixpoint comes in 16oz so drink them with a purpose in that TN heat.
I would go with Bengali Tiger (6.4), Brownstone (6.0), Sweet Action(5.2) or The Crisp(5.4) as far Six Point goes since they are on the lighter side being they come in 16 oz cans. Resign (9.1) is a good one as well, but could knock your socks even if it comes in a 12 oz can.
I work at a liquor store in NJ and have access to the following canned craft beer (staying in-line w/ the 'no bottles' rules):
Oskar Blues - Dale's, Yella Pils, Old Chub, G'Knight, Deviant Dale's, Ten Fidy Brooklyn - Lager 21st Amendment - Bitter American, Brew Free or Die IPA, Lower De Boom (BARLEYWINE) Caldera - IPA, Amber Anderson Valley - Boont Amber Kona - Longboard Hop City - Barking Squirrel Lager Sierra Nevada - Torpedo Flying Dog - Snake Dog IPA Sixpoint - Brownstone, The Crisp, Sweet Action, Bengali Tiger, Righteous Ale, Resin, Diesel) Lancaster - Rumspringa Avery - Ellie's Brown Ale, IPA, White Rascal Sly Fox - 113 IPA, Dunkel, Phoenix Pale Ale, Pikeland Pils, Royal Weisse Narragansett - Lager, Cream Ale Crispin Cider Young's Double Chocolate Stout Strongbow Cider Blackthorn Cider
I'm totally up fer this by the way. I'll have to see what stuff I can find around here in cans. Unfortunately only one of our local breweries does cans that I've seen and they kinda suck. Wish I could bring some Red Oak! But they only have glass growlers and bottles.

Dude i know! Every time I visit my parents in Raleigh, I stop by the red oak brewery off I40 and get a couple growlers of battlefield bock. They really need to get on the aluminum bandwagon... also, doesn't Carolina Brewing Co (Apex?) do cans? If you're looking for good cans for Bonnaroo, stop in Asheville on your way out!
Is anyone aware of the the keg policy? I've got a few homebrews going, I could easily put one in a cylinder keg, which is slightly more in volume than 2 cases but there will be 3+ of us in the car, but I'm not sure how well it'd go over bringing that in. There's no glass, and it's under the limit for beer, but it seems like a faux pas. Anyone have some insight?
