cutting tulle is a pain, unless you do it as a careful and controlled process. but it's doable.
That's why I enlisted Quacker! : ) He cringed when I said I was going back to Joanne's today to get ribbons and glitter for the Tu's. He knows I'll come home with a little more tull. ;D
Going to change the Great pumpkin - remove the green and make an orange creamsicle, and either make the green all green- or add a better color.

I got my tulle @ Joanns's and they had tons of colors in plain, shiny and sparkle! I think the glitter was $5 a yard. The plain was 1.99 and the shiny somewhere in between. It was all on bolts though.
Bonzai I used 15 yards and my Tu is enormously poofy! Like I barely need anything underneath big.
I spent over an hour, $45 bucks and countless texts to Holls and Mayo, but I've got my goods!!! Now just to make it! Major diddly swag to Mayo. I am a bit of a wimp and hate to ask for help and such. Mayo actually CALLED THE STORE THAT I WAS AT to find out info while I was there. Is that a real woman or what?!?!?

Bonz is just going to have a really really really stellar Rootu I can't wait to see it!!!!

Si. I bought swag and two yards of $6/yd sparkly tulle. Joann's has the plain tulle (in lots of fun colors) for $1.49/yd.

Took down the old pictures and putting up new after Mayo told me glue guns are O-K!!
QSAROO Tu's: These are for roosters that are not able to order the amazing Mayo Tu's or make their own, yet would like a Tu for Roo. A little (very simple ) gift from QSAROO. (Lower expectations from what Mayo is doing!)
From reading all above - they will be one size fits many -- the 36" elastic will be safety pinned so they can be skinnied or stretched. Will do some long, some short - long can be trimmed. You can add more flair!

Daisy Delight - yellow and white (I confess this is my favorite)
Dream Cloud (Blue/White) Can be shortened and has plenty of possiblity for more personal flair or i can add flowers
The Electric Slide (Purple/Pink/Yellow) Can be shortened
Pretty In Purple (Purple, light pink, light yellow) Can be shortened
Circus Circus
Positively Punk (bright purple and pink, pale purple and pink) Can be shortened - I can add large ribbon or flowers
Absolute and Cranberry Can be shortened
DO No Harm! - Red and black, knee length - Adopted Sarah - shortened just a tad - can still be shorter if you want, and added shiny white. Did not glue the bow at all - not sure if you want the bow or not. If you dont like the added whiote it can be easily removed. Going to whip up some hand tu's tomorrow to match than get it in the mail.

Third - quilting cutters are Damn sharp - always keep your hands to the side!! The cut is shallow but razor blade sharp so lots of blood letting. Lesson learned

Answering several questions.. adoption fees are the low low price of nothing. These are gifts from Qsaroo to those that do not have a Tu and want one. First to claim gets them. Mayo is doing so much to help the qsaroo happy dancers. Trying to give a little back. and maybe lighten her load a tad.

Amanduh - yes - those materials are for your Rootu sweet... You've seen them - PM me with any thoughts on how you want it to look. Cant guarantee i can deliver exact, but i'll try.
Took a PTO day yesterday and need to buckle down tomorrow. Funny how in todays world to take vacation you need to work al of your vacation time plus your normal time to get time off. The last of the batch tomorrow eve i hope.
