I think we're getting a little carried away with the EDM talk. They haven't explicitly billed themselves as an EDM festival yet.

Frankly I'm gonna be a little bummed if it's just EDM. I like EDM, but not sure about 2 days and nights of it.
on the counterpoint website, they list "Liquified" as a partner. Liquified is THE edm promoter in atlanta, so i would bet money this will draw some major talent to the fest...and lends even more credibility to it.

If it's solely EDM, I will not be making an appearance. I am just happy for the EDM fans I know. Aside from Ultra, I don't believe there is an EDM fest in the southeast. It'll be nice for them to have something to go to since Ultra is seemingly not the best ran festival ever.

Same here. Strictly just a late night thing for me. I think all the "womp womps" and bass drops would get annoying by the 3rd band of the day. Just my opinion though...

Crystal Castles are one of the few bands that I never get tired of seeing at festivals. The crowd reaction is always different, so it's always a different show. Plus, it's never a dull moment with Alice Glass.

I spend as little time in Cobb as possible. Cops are dicks. Around here, we refer to Cobb as Count On Being Busted county.

I try to avoid Cobb and Gwinette when possible. Seems like everyone I know who've had a brush with the law over a victimless crime got it in those counties.
To be fair though, going to Echo back in '07 we didn't feel even slightly harassed by the local law enforcement. Didn't see any road side searches.

we've only been through there on the way to roo/chattanooga. i thought it was was the part before gwinnett. cops are bad there, EVERYONE knows to slow down.
