Also, Death Grips is on a picture of the line-up for the news story but not on the actual line-up page. Is it an oversight like Oberhofer on Roo's or a late deletion due to them dropping out of Primavera?

They didn't drop out of Primavera, they dropped ALL dates. ATP (London & NJ) included. That's why they ain't on the lineup, I guess.
EDIT: This is a solid lineup if you're into that style music.

goddamit death grips were on the lineup picture but they cancelled their tour
They're still in the alphabetical lineup. Looks like this was a last minute cancellation.
It was. Promoters are still trying to figure out that they for real cancelled. It really was the poopiest way to do it. Just a note on FB that all dates were cancelled. They forgot to tell everyone else.

For real. The tour was supposed to start the day after they posted it. I said it before in another thread, this screams rehab for someone. Hopefully they will get added back to a few more fests here soon.
On a brighter note: AHAHAHAHAH M83!

Not sure about this one. There's maybe like 6 acts on the bill I actually like. Still, a camping festival only 30 minutes from my front door?... Maybe.
Wow... This is the line-up of missed opportunities for me. M83, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Washed Out and Beats Antique are all shows that I've had tickets to at some point, but due to life was unable to attend any of those concerts. REDEMPTION!!!
02/08 Tool 02/11 Jeff Mangum 02/17 of Montreal 02/29 Blind Pilot 03/31 The Naked & The Famous 05/14 M83 and I Break Horses 05/19 Flaming Lips, Young the Giant, Dawes and AWOLNATION 06/07 Bonnaroo 2012!!! 06/13 Roger Waters 07/28 Toadies
Just checked out the lineup. Depending on ticket prices, I'd love to go. PL, Bassnectar, M83, Super Mash Bros, Beats Antique is the only names I really want to see. The others, I'm either not a big fan or unaware of.
Hmm...seems appealing if it wasn't 4 hours away. Not to mention I've seen quite a few of those ppl before. If I lived in ATL or nearby, it would be a definite for me. Are ticket prices posted anywhere?
If you pull the line up in ABC order then you get more names like FLYING LOTUS!!!! and wolfgang gartner were two i noticed

This festival annoys me because there are good bands on it, and it's so damn close, but it's too much to justify going to a festival in which I don't like a single name on the top line.
I'll be very upset when M83, Crystal Castles, Ghostland Observatory, Atmosphere, Toro y Moi, Washed Out, Flying Lotus(?), Reptar, and Policia are all playing an hour away and I'm not there.
Totally agree on Sector 9 being there. What is GCE though? I'm stumped.
Great Cycle Experience show. the shows they are doing this year. its just a tribe show with a particular set up. but they are back to playing OLD shit. T.W.E.L.V.E is back is rotation. 986 foot tall trees was played. some old school favs. But i prefer the sector 9 show. that first night in atl for nye run was the best tribe show ive ever seen, hands down. that night was magical.

Oh gotcha, I've only seen it referred to as a 'Spectacle'. Didn't realize they're busting T.W.E.L.V.E. out again. I thought Murph said it was shelved for good. Great news. It's funny you say that about night one of NYE--I'm jamming to it right now. What a night.
