Aside from a handful of acts, this just seems like a lesser version of Ultra to me. Even though I only live two hours away, I can't justify this at the moment.
Great Cycle Experience show. the shows they are doing this year. its just a tribe show with a particular set up. but they are back to playing OLD poop. T.W.E.L.V.E is back is rotation. 986 foot tall trees was played. some old school favs. But i prefer the sector 9 show. that first night in atl for nye run was the best tribe show ive ever seen, hands down. that night was magical.
Oh gotcha, I've only seen it referred to as a 'Spectacle'. Didn't realize they're busting T.W.E.L.V.E. out again. I thought Murph said it was shelved for good. Great news. It's funny you say that about night one of NYE--I'm jamming to it right now. What a night.
Murph did make the comment during a sound check vip party during one nights of the nye run, "T.W.E.L.V.E. died in a car crash and came back as 20-12" im pretty sure is how it went. but i know they played it 4-20 oakland and another show.

I think im gonna do VIP for $350 depending on what all kinds of benefits it has. I know they get bigger camping areas and showers/toilets.
From what I saw before they took it down, it looks like you can do an upgrade to your GA camping for $75 which will give you the bigger, more secure camp site, toilets and showers. The $350 VIP ticket has the special viewing areas and such in addition to the camping upgrade.
an electronic festival right outside atl with lotus, zoogma, and tycho SCREAMS the need for the hometown boys! They did do five night for NYE and 4-20 in the area. But it is their hometown and don't they play home at least once a year? for what its worth i don't see them there but im hoping for a sector 9 set, PLEASE!!!! Zapp, did you get the soundboard for the sector 9 show in NO?

I totally agree they should be there but I would think they'll use their Atlanta date(s) for something of their own design. I don't have anything newer than those NYE shows. I need to check out a Great Cycles show--it's definitely awesome they are getting back to their roots a little bit.

This fest pulling skrillex down south got him a gig at Mansion in miami beach that fri the 28th. THAT will be an epic set. Metric is also that weekend down here I might have to back out of my plans for this festival. It'd be stretching my budget anyways. I'll have an epic weekend down here instead
