^It's because tickets to Coachella sell out in a matter of minutes so they decided to do the same exact festival two weekends in a row starting last year in hopes that more people could catch the festival. And to make a ton more money.
thanks mellotron. i hope ACL doesnt do that this year too

Sun: Wilde Belle -> Ghost -> DIIV -> Thee Oh Sees/Jessie Ware -> Grimes (last half if Jessie Ware) -> Tanlines -> James Blake -> Vampire Weekend -> Nick Cave -> Dead Can Dance?
Any vet mind having a quick look over this and well me what's not reasonable. Trying to get a sense of the map and how feasible all of this is. I know I'll have to cut a few shows, but I don't know what.

Nicely done, you won't be sorry. That looks like a pretty reasonable schedule. I don't think it takes much more than 10 minutes to cross the park. It might be tough to get in to the Yuma for Four Tet, so get there early, definitely try to see something in there.

Try getting in the yuma (or getting in line at least) about an hour before Four Tet starts. It will be worth it.
OH, and directly across from the entrance door is a fantastic space right in front of the A/C vents. That is also worth it.

Okay, so I'll axe Divine Fits and try to catch them at Roo, get in line for Four Tet way early, and catch The 2 Bears in Yuma as well. Might have to swap out Dead Can Dance for Disclosure.

I didn't scope out Four Tet, but the line for Jamie XX stretched down past that geometric house thingy. It seemed like waits generally got longer as the weekend went on.
I don't know why people are advising you to get there an hour early for Four Tet. That's insane. Seriously, 15 minutes SHOULD do it. When I showed up 15 minutes early for a Yuma set I wanted I never had a problem. Hell, when I showed up late to Four Tet I only had to wait about 10-15 to get in. I would also suggest maybe seeing the first hour of Four Tet and then catching the first 30 of Local Natives before seeing Modest Mouse, as Local Natives were really outstanding. You should skip Bauuer and see Savages instead, you'll be happy you did. In your ??? spot maybe check out the 2 Bears. Skip Grizzly Bear and go see Hot Chip, since you're going to Bonnaroo and can catch Grizzly Bear there. I heard Grimes was terrible on Sunday, though I can't confirm that personally. Your Tanlines -> James Blake -> Vampire Weekend is a perfect decision, I did exactly that and it was glorious.
Also, wanna pick me up a shirt?
I'll split the difference and show up a half hour early, and I'll play it by ear as to if see Local Natives. Will give Savages a listen and likely skip Bauuer if they're good. I saw Hot Chip last week, and I'm anticipating a Grizzly Bear conflict with Local Natives or The xx at Roo. 2 Bears seems like a good fit so I can get in Yuma a second time. I'll try and find some recordings of Grimes from this past weekend to figure out how she was, but I'm more than happy to see Jessie Ware.
I can absolutely grab you a shirt. Size, colour, style?

I would just like to point out that some people on here will likely pay good money for Juggs' name and address if you wanted to help offset the cost of the trip or buy your lady friend something nice.
