Anyone going this week that could buy me a copy of the Portugal. The Man special record store day release (Church Mouth on bone colored vinyl) from the Zia Records tent that is on site?
I would be willing to pay for the shipping if you could have it shipped to me as well.
hey now now, I am gonna need something from Glasto my Druid and my JHOinTN. And you dont even need to ninja it to me because JHo knows where I live.
You got it, dudette! What would you like? A shirt? A stick? a husband?
I've decided I'm getting Glen Hansard as my personal souvenir.
My mother is getting a Rolling Stones t-shirt.
hahahhahahahahhahaa! Well since you're in the kidnapping frame of mind, I'll take one Tom Smith (Editors), and Evan Dando as my personal souvenirs. DON'T TELL ME I CAN'T HAVE BOTH.
And if you they are sold out of Tom Smiths and Evan Dandos at merch, I'll take anything (even trash) from the Cider Bus, and a t-shirt. Or something glowy. OR A MAGNET. Yes a magnet. Seems more practical from a packing perspective.

You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Horn, whenever you post in this thread, it does something really weird to your info box. For instance, you've got your Rin Tin Tin avatar up, and it says that you're "spotless" and joined in April 2013. Anyone else seeing this?
Not horn but I have noticed a few people random people that have nothing showi up as post count and it says spotless. It seems to come and go and be completely random for me anyways.

Weird things maybe going on with Proboards. There were some odd layout/theme issues that randomly would pop up and then fix themselves a minute or two later.

I did go on that vision quest while I was in Palm Desert.

I read an article on "the 10 worst things of Coachella 2013" and one of "10" was "seeing people pee on the ground and not in the out-houses". I make it a point to pee on the soil at the farm at least once a day during my stay. They also bitched about the weather.

Also just noticed Biffy Clyro dropped off weekend two. Thats too bad cuz I was digging their set on the webcast. I bet they were pissed about getting cut short.
favorite shows: postal service the xx la roux hot chip wutang cloud nothings
things i like about coachella: -it is clean. -the people dress nice and are good looking. -wonderful grass. -shorter sets which means they almost always play all their best songs. -so much beautiful art. -screens at every stages. -the sahara tent is cool. -free showers. -i get to see celebrities (katy perrrrrry!!!! and robert pattinson/kristen stewart and alexander skarsgard!) -it is clean.
things i do not like about coachella: -me losing my monsterhat. -all the bros who are pushing. i mean it is not that hard to say excuse me dumbfuck. -the yuma tent line. i tried to get in it 15 mins before jamie xx on sunday. the line was out of the food part and past the bushes. i went and waited in the lost and found line for 45 mins. i had marked a guy in a weird outfit to see how far he moved and he still was not in the show. that is bunk. i already paid 350$ i should get into every show i want. -wind and dust. everything in our tent was covered in a layer of sand/dirt on sunday and we couldn't have the ez up protecting us -b/c it was windy as fuck. -seeing girl's vag lips b/c they don't have underwear on but they have jean shorts up their lady bits. -the security line to get into camping. it took us like 3 1/2 hours. that is not much in roo time, but much longer than i waited in 2011. -the security line to get into the stages on friday. we had to wait 45 mins to get in and we missed lord huron. -security taking my ladybug umbrella and then seeing other umbrellas at the stages. i am pale i need my umbrella fools! -sound issues. there were several shows (especially in the gobi) that it was hard to hear unless you were up close.
overall coachella is a much better fit for me comfort level-wise, but i did feel like an old lady the whole wknd surrounded by teenieboppers. and especially since hotels are a very viable option, the camping demographic is much younger than roo. i had a pretty great time except for some very minor hiccups i definitely recommend to everyone.
p.s. a big shoutout to my girl crazykittensmile! thanks for opening your home once again to me. <3
I'm upset Parov Stellar Band canceled And im pretty sure they never announced it, there were a bunch of us waiting around for nothing, I coulda spent more time at Roni Size before Disclosure. They've been removed from the Weekend 2 schedule too.

yes i saw more than one girl who seemed to forget she did not have any underpants on.
seriously, what is that phenomenon all about? I feel like it started with Britney Spears or Paris Hilton and now it happens everywhere, and I cannot fathom why. let's be real, that cannot be comfy at a music festival, running around all day... and in denim, no less.
side note: today I told a 12-yr-old boy who was in for a physical (I work at a pediatric office) that he would need to get undressed down to his underwear, and asked if he wanted a gown. his 5-yr-old brother burst into hysterical laughter and started chanting, "she said underwear, she said underwear.."

All right, I have answered all of my own questions regarding the HTDA show. I have a copy of the show if anyone would like me to email it to them. I have it in both .mv4 and .mp4.
