Awesome story. I hated being out of town for that show. Did you see them at the Clermont on Valentine's Day? My wife (girlfriend at the time) considered that one a no-brainer when it was announced. One of many ways I knew she was a keeper: she had a blast at a sweaty V-Day show in a notoriously grimy strip club.[/quote]
Damn, I somehow missed it. I'm sure it was a blast. I've seen them around 20 times and my wife is usually right there with me. She loves them. Here's an awesome tidbit: We saw Radiohead in the pit at Philips and afterwards I asked my wife what she thought about the show. She replied, "I mean, it is was good, but the Black Lips are better." Here's to awesome wives!
Finally released it, pretty happy with how Saturday turned out could only argue QOTSA vs Kendrick Lamar is a bit of a conflict but I undoubtedly will be at the QOTSA set.
My Saturday will prob end up something like this:
The Neighbourhood? > Weezer > The Black Lips > Arctic Monkeys > Imagine Dragons(For the GF) > Yeah Yeah Yeahs > Queens of the Stoneage > RHCP
Not a bad looking day of music at all for my tastes, getting pretty stoked only like 17 days out now. Dont have tix for Friday for the fest but anyone have any recommendations for fun things to check out Friday night 9/20? Maybe any shows, bars, restaurants, etc they would recommend for a good time Friday night?

I think Daughter is playing Fri. I would go to that if I weren't going to the fest.

I am totally bummed that Jane's Addiction and Cake are playing at the same time They were a big part of the reason I am going. Otherwise it's looks like a great schedule.

That's how we are.
OMG Steph I forgot you are going to!! YAY! I can't wait to see everyone I will text you when I get to town on the Friday.
Anybody know of anyone who wants to get rid of two tickets (both day)? I thought I had purchased mine back a couple of months ago but now realize I did not. I would really like to avoid ticketmaster & their crazy fees. Stubhub is an option, but I thought I'd check here first. Thanks!
Got my tickets & hotel room - YAY!! Can't wait for next weekend!!
Yay! I had a few days of doubts whether I should go, due to some things that came up, but I decided to just go and deal with the financial consequences later....
The Hams and I have Friday only passes and had bought a 3rd Friday only pass for a friend, who is now unable to attend due to getting a new job. Anybody need or want a Friday only pass for a friend or oneself?

OK, who's all staying at my house? I forgot? things have been insane lately -
I'm not going and I'm OK with it....its good chance of rain and I've been very sick the past 3-4 days, still struggling with bronchitis, really don't feel like going down and potentially standing (or sitting) in the rain. Plus I really can't afford anything extra right now. I've got some major shiz I'm dealing with. Life happens. I'm not fighting it anymore.
No problem...I am looking forward to seeing whoever is at my house Friday night/Sat morning, Sat night afterwards and then on Sunday. I can cook up some goodies for us all....and rest in between. Is there talk of anyone getting together on Sunday for brunch/lunch etc? Wanna do that at my house? Just an idea....
