It's certainly possible. The last time Wilco was at Bonnaroo they were a pre-headliner on the main stage. This year I have been saying the only options for them would be to pre-headline for someone again or for them to get a a late night slot (possibly on the Which...possibly in a tent). I can't see them doing much else.
I think it's going to have to be that. With Pretty Lights on the lineup, that takes one of the LN Which spots. I doubt they give the other one to Wilco. And Wilco in a tent at any time is a no go (albeit awesome if you had a good spot for it). The wildcard is that they could pre-headline for Petty on Sunday which is the scenario people aren't considering.
I think we could see Wilco closing the Which on Sunday.

I think that's more likely to be The National. I think a Wilco<McCartney with like R Kelly in the middle at Which is reasonable. But I don't know how much R Kelly would draw, just personal ignorance.

How long do you think he plays for? I say at least 2.5
A standard concert for him is 3+ hours. His show when I saw him in Utah in 2010 was 3.5 hours with three encores.
Sorry to just pop in.
His concerts are consistently around 2 hours, 45 minutes (I've been to 11). This will be amazing - his shows always are. But when I saw him at Coachella it was just different. The crowd had a different feel since it was a festival crowd (not all there just for him). He had even more energy than usual.
I'm so pumped for this. And you can count me (and my fellow crazy Paul fan friend) in for the all day pit line.

Not a lot of love for A Day in the Life in my experience with fans either. I love that song and it contains one of the most hair raising builds I've ever heard in music.

Feel like that song is one that gets some of the most love.

I wonder why it is so low on that list posted above? I know that 45 out of the bajillion that he could potentially play is still pretty good so I still have high hopes.
Do you think it has to do with the orchestral sections and being hard to reproduce that sound? I have not seen him personally but this one is on my wishlist - I saw Phish cover it and it was pretty magical, but it gives me chills to think about the real thing.

If this list was grabbed off of setlist.fm then I think the explanation is that he's been playing A Day in the Life with a Give Peace a Chance outro which would be listed as A Day in the Life/Give Peace a Chance. They would consider A Day in the Life and A Day in the Life/Give Peace a Chance to be two different songs.

I've seen him twice and he actually did it both times.

That's all I needed to hear. Can't wait for the inevitable sing-a-long.
