I saw him here in Nashville in 2010. He had plenty of ass kicking left in him. One of the best live performers I have ever seen. And I've seen a lot in my time.
edit* I was going to make some sarcastic comment about the worthless old man bit, but I refrained.
That Nashville show in 2010 was one of the best I've ever seen. It's also where all of my dreams came true.

This is going to be amazing. Will be camping out on What all day. AC said Paul will put on a magical show for Bonnaroo, I wonder what he'll have up his sleeve for us.

Duh. I never said every song should be hey Jude. The person I quoted claimed anything Paul McCartney does is inherently amazing. I was refuting that. You seen to agree with me.
other people are free to disagree with me. I don't mind.
You should figure out why it's so important for you to know other people agree with you. It's quite.off putting.
It's actually phenomenal how he plays them. I mean it's Paul McCartney. Anything he does is going to be amazing.
I refuse to allow thinking along these lines to go forward unchallenged.
Paul McCartney's solo career is littered with mediocre songs.
Dont even get me started on Wings. Beatles/Lennon songs or GTFO.
What's wrong with wings? I mean, i know they aren't the beatles, but they had some good songs. The Beatles are a tough act to follow, naturally wings could never be as good.
I'm trying to prepare myself for the all day wait at the what stage, seems like that's what it's going to take if you want a good spot. Anyone have any tips for making this wait?

you talkin' about waiting for the pit?
i won't be doing that. my bladder was about to explode after radiohead finished. i know paul likes to play long, 40 song sets. i'll be doing my best to do wilco -> paul from the rail behind the pit.

I will be disappointed if he doesn't play more Wings songs (which he will). They're not The Beatles, but they have some great tunes.
Absolutely - Wings! Great songs. Band on the Run, Jet, Beware My Love, Hi Hi Hi, Rockshow... just a few off the top of my head - all excellent. But, I digress, we all have our opinions.
