Fill that "new space" with art! and fire! and cool shit to look at. and yeah sure put an EDM tent over there in the woods somewhere, but just get MORE ART!!!
I havent been on in a while and just read this entire thread. I am soooo freaking shocked at how civil everyone seems in this discussion. Like a few weeks ago if someone mentioned an edm tent I feel like people would start rabbling and be up in Arms.
I haven't read the whole thread, but I personally think they should put a ginormous empty tent with lots of ceiling fans and picnic tables.
Where you would find a ton of people just sleeping and missing out on shows.
And that's a bad thing? I know they improved the shade and water but the weather was also spectacular this year. If it's 100 degrees in the shade again next year I for one would need as much shade as possible, hell screw fans, let's hook up solar powered AC ;D

I say leave the open space the way it is. Those bathrooms were the least crowded and clean and cool. And there's trees to sit under for shade. And the State Farm tent was a great getaway from the sun and heat because of all the industrial fans and the couches and hammocks. The prize giveaways were awesome, too.
It would be very dangerous to have a petting zoo in the batting cages. Kids might get hit with baseballs.
I'm not paying to use the batting cages unless there is a good change I can hit a kid with my killer line drives.
Next year when Bonnaroo starts holding contests and announcing things we need to flood their facebook and twitter with "Batting Cage Petting Zoo" requests.

All of the small areas that had shade had people sleeping everywhere. It made it very hard to see the acts playing there. I think it also brought down the performers, playing for 40 sleeping people. Those of us there to see the bands had to stand behind all the nappers.

Okay, that sucks, we make the nappers hang in the back
But seriously. I'd really like to see some interactive art like at Coachella. Granted it's always cool to kick back and watch you guys paint the fences (which is special in it's own way of course). But being permitted to press the red button on a remote, which controls a massive fire ball (while blitzed) is truly a thrilling experience.
Or the magical forest like someone mentioned before sounds good to me. I've never been to Rothbury or Electric Forest but I hear that's definitely a highlight.

Gotta keep EDM latenight alive. Seperate the Lunar stage from majority of centeroo so the noise wont disturb other shows. Arcade was always to small before it became Adult Swim and the silent disco is a novelty not the scene im lookin for when tryna rage.
