Can the locals tell me a good area to look for a hotel room, if I were to go? What other areas of interest should I check out?

I just booked a room on Priceline. It's at the SpringHill Suites Marriott. It was a pay as you stay, and it's only 6 minutes from Merriweather. It actually looks like a really nice place (not that I really care), King bed with a pullout sofa for $99. So, maybe try there!

Dave is going to college and while he doesn't think this is amazing, I do. I'd trade FF to go back to school. I'd totally love to sleep on an inforooer's couch but I have major animal allergies so it's usually just easier to stay at a hotel.
We'll let Bunny answer, but I doubt he has animals and he spends most weekends and a lot of weeknights at her place. But if you want a hotel, I won't stop you

We'll let Bunny answer, but I doubt he has animals and he spends most weekends and a lot of weeknights at her place. But if you want a hotel, I won't stop you
That's backwards haha. I generally spend weekends at his house of man caves. It's about 20 miles from Merriweather near the DC border.
I can confirm no pets, no plants. No Dans or dogs in the kitchen. He does smoke inside though, if that bothers anyone.

EDIT: wow, it seems sacrilegious to post a link to a different festival in this thread; looking @ that Nashville lineup, I'm 99% sure I'll pass on it even though I've already got my Roll Call pre-sale tix.
