Any rumours yet? So far I've seen tweets about Depeche Mode, the Cure and Atoms for Peace. Source: Michael Corcoran on twitter - he writes for the Chronicle, I think.
I wish the lineup came out before May. I would really like to do this some year, but would have to choose between it and Bonnaroo. Although, if Depeche Mode or The Cure end up happening, I'll find a way to go.
Anyone in Austin willing to house an inforooster in exchange for my company and any cooking you need done?

You could always sell the ticket if you decided on another lineup. I know you know this, but don't let dates get in front of lineups.
The second weekend would be the best birthday weekend ever, for me. I'm going to make it one day, I just have to figure out how to make it work with MOEMS.
I bought a presale for W1 and I just booked a bed at the HI Hostel in Austin. About 3 miles from Zilker. I won't be 100% until the lineup, but things are looking good so far.

It's looking really, really good for ACL right now.
The more I think about this the more I want to go, and due to some new financial good graces, I will be able to afford it this year if I'm smart about planning. I'd be interested in a hotel split, if anyone else is going. I'm open to either weekend.
If you can't get a hotel with people, the hostel is an affordable idea, and a great way to meet other festival attendees. Last time I checked, beds were still available, but it'll probably fill up fast when the lineup comes out because ACL's website promotes it.
Due to bad experiences with hostels in the past, I generally prefer to go the hotel or airbnb.com route. Thank you for the info though, I may end up needing it.
