Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Wait, Boys Noize is not the artist I thought they were. I thought they were the ones with that song "Wut." Apparently that is the similarly named Girl Unit. Checking out Boys Noize now though and it doesn't sound too bad a few minutes in.
As far as Massives/Rave approved artists go, Boys Noize is good stuff. Of course, deep down I'll always be a sucker for filthy house/electro beats. Wubs can stay home.
I really hope the Bonnaroo lineup doesn't get Deadmau5'd and Armin van Buuren'd.
I totally agree with you on deadmau5.
Armin on the other hand is probably my favorite dj. Roo could use some trance. The only reason I would do ultra would be for him and carl cox. Anyone know if armin is headlining and/or hosting an asot tent again this year? I may actually consider buying a ticket if he is.

Just got my ticket for weekend 2! This is easily the biggest festival I've ever bought a ticket for that isn't Bonnaroo, so I'm crazy stoked. A lot of people say that there's too many repeats, but I've only seen Bassnectar, Avicii, Crystal Castles, and Matt and Kim out of everyone on the lineup, so I'm sure it'll be an amazing experience. They say Ultra is one of those things you need to do at least once, so what better year than this one?
What the hell happens if the 2nd weekend is cancelled? What about all the people who have already booked hotel rooms and flights? And what happens in Ultra already sold more than half the amount of tickets for each weekend (which is likely). They won't be able to simply allow the tickets to work for either weekend or it will be oversold.

I'm sure their insurance would cover lost revenues. I mean, they cant control a change in local law. So, I would guess just refund the second weekend ticket.
And for people that are already booked, hope they can get a refund from the airline/hotel if they have already paid up.

Considering the first wave, that's not bad - at all. I thoroughly enjoyed last year. The production was beyond top notch, the setting was cool (they used one downtown building to project visuals, like balls bouncing out of a head), the music was amazing, particularly on the live stage, and my wife and I had no issues. We would have returned this year, but we're trying to hit a different festival every year, other than 'roo. This year is Hangout. Having written all that, we're older, in our early 40s, so we went VIP at Ultra. We felt terrible for the GA people because the line was ENORMOUS. Like it went on and on and on. They need to try to improve that. Whether you go VIP or GA, you shouldn't have to wait in a seemingly never-ending line.
