Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Quacker read a post to me - FB maybe - from NFF and next year all of the tickets will be the same price. They were quick to realize that they want to make the loyal happy however it created turmoil for many.
We always do the print at home option for tickets, and each year the print has been one ticket for each day. So if you grabbed a 3 day and dont care for what's on friday or can't make it, you have the option to gift that ticket and still go sat + sunday.

I saw that post on Facebook, too. I appreciate their response to people, but I don't think they need to do that. The point of pre-sales/ early birds is that they are meant to sell out. If you don't get one, oh well! They really don't have to change their ways.

I've been in a complete funk and have spaced out on this whole deal. I am honored and overjoyed to be in the "QC or bust" faction though, and I would LOOOOOOVE to be in on this!

Meredith and I are going again! Got us two early birds today. Hopefully, it doesn't pour like last year so we can get some QC time. Maybe Thursday night this year...

I know it's coming straight from the festival but they do claim 650,000 people attend Riverbend (though it's over a 9-day period)
It's the official kick off to summer in the Tennessee Valley! Over 100 artists during 9 days on 6 stages, it's the place to be each June! The annual Riverbend Festival draws over 650,000 people to the banks of the Tennessee River to enjoy an eclectic lineup of music, food, and other great attractions.
Also mentioned in other articles. I think he wasn't lying about the number...just that he misrepresented it (and that it's a 9-day thing with some nights having as many as 80,000 people).
It may be like when festivals count each day and entry as 3 separate people even if it's the same person going in 3 days)
Deer Tick will be at the Blue Cafe again for their 3 night run..which IMO is the best thing about the entire weekend. I could really care less if they play the actual festival...their fest sets are nowhere as good as their late night sets.
