I'm going to Waka regardless but yea, there is some nice variety flying around here in round 2. People on the forum are convinced Cheese and Soundtribe are coming in round 3. Find out in a week. But I'm cool with this.
I would love to see Cheese and STS9 on the lineup! I've seen (or have been physically present for, at least) them each once. I love the Cheese crowd...so weird! And I had some overstimulation issues during STS9 and had to take a nap, so I'd love another shot at that show!
Oh that is quite alright kballard. I, unlike many who inhabit these parts, can actually be civil with Cats fans (or IU, or whatever your team of choice may be). Most of my buddies root for the Cats.
Still 3 or 4 big names to get dropped according to this: www.wakarusa.com/artist-lineup/ SCI is def a possibility. Moe, STS9, and/or TAB are likely to crossover from summercamp.
Definitely digging this line up a whole lot. I'm waiting for the 'roo lineup before I make any decisions, but it looks like it's going to be a really tough call between the two.

Gardenfresh, last year I was grooving to some beats and next thing I know the sun was coming up. It's almost 24hrs of music there. And yes, lots of multiple sets by the artists. VIP has its perks no doubt. You can bring your own beer and booze but you can't bring it into the concert area so VIP takes care of that problem for ya. Just a heads up if they announce a big headliner next week, the VIP can and probably will sell out. Just a heads up.
I'd love to do this, not sure with it being so close to Roo dates.
He's one of my main hopes as far as bands crossing over from waka to Roo.
He opened for Zeds Dead but it was Araab I went to see. They had him on the same stage set high up and it wasn't as good as being able to see his fingers. If you can get as close as you can.

To support it being Wanee, Wanee's line-up is scheduled to be released at 10am today whereas part 3 of Waka's is scheduled for tomorrow. It wouldn't be the first time a band has jumped the gun though.
**fingers crossed** I hope both fests get it really. Gogol Bordello is one of the best touring bands ever.
I'll never forget seeing them open for Jane's Addcition on 10/31/09 at Voodoo at sunset....with a giant circle pit full of people on stilts! face=melted

My mistake, I totally thought part three was today (not tomorrow.)
Wanee does make sense then. Either way.... I'm still here on the left side far away from both these festivals
This is an interview with Waka's director. He also says that this is the biggest lineup in the history of the fest so I am expecting big things tomorrow.
Not a bad lineup as a whole but I've seen A LOT of those bands already. I'm not sure if it's enough to make the 7+ hour drive...guess I'll be waiting for Bonnaroo's lineup to drop to compare the two.
