I wish. This is one of my favorite waka lineups ever and the scheduling would leave me basically conflict free. If I didn't already have tickets for BMSR for that weekend I would be all over this.
Edit: the Amon Tobin, EOTO, Lance Herbstrong conflict at the very end of the festival would drive me pretty nuts. I've seen EOTO 5 times but I always have so much fun, I saw ISAM 1.0 - it was alright sound with fantastic visuals but I hear 2.0 is a whole different level but I would probably end up at Herbstrong - I missed a couple of chances to see these guys but their music is great and the party will be wild.
I apologize in advance if this is against the rules. I'm not trying to sell anything, but feel free to remove if this post is out of line. Long story short, I ended up with two MV camping passes, but I need one MV with Wednesday arrival. Anybody add to their crew and need additional camping passes they'd be willing to trade even for one early arrival?
So happy and excited to be spending my birthday at my very first Wakarusa! Thanks to kballard helping me out with my ride situation. Going to be SO much fun ^_^ I'll see some of you inforooers down there hopefully! Always fun meeting some of the community I've been a part of for a while now. 2 more weeks! Here's a video to get you all excited,

So, apparently last night at Mulberry Mountain there were some severe thunderstorms (hope everyone is safe!). I work in insurance claims, and today I receive a claim for weather damage on an auto. I call my insured and they explain that they were up in the Ozarks at a festival, and the fest told everyone to evacuate their tents and get in their vehicles for safety. Well, a tent went straight through her back glass on her vehicle and shattered it. She thought her fest was over and ruined before it started, and was really bummed that this happened (as anyone would be).
I asked her if she was at Wakarusa, and in a kind of bewildered tone, she asked how I knew that. I laughed and told her I was familiar with the fest and its location, and that I myself venture to Bonnaroo every year. By the end of our conversation she was all smiles. I lined her up with a glass repair shop for Monday on her way out of the fest. She was so thankful, I simply told her that I wasn't going to let this ruin her Wakarusa weekend, and to go enjoy her weekend of music.

Is your lady ok with guys still having man crushes on you after you get married? I'm asking for a friend... yeah, a friend.
On topic, I asked Abra how she had fared the storms. She responded that they were still in line to get in after hours of waiting.

Dave Maynar, we can totes cuddle at MOEMS, my soon to be wife doesn't have a problem with my man crushes, or lady crushes really either, we're cool like that.
I talked to Abra again yesterday evening. She said it was nice at that point, but the rain on Thursday night had been pretty bad. It was supposed to storm again last night into today, so we'll see how that went.

Any more news from Abra? I heard somewhere Friday that the venue was being evacuated, but I'm not sure if it's true. I hope everyone stayed safe and that they were still able to have a good weekend.

On Friday, I think it was something similar to Lolla last year where they evacuated the main venue where the stages were and told everyone to go to their cars. I think that was late though. I haven't talked to her since her phone battery has been low. People seem to be mixed on their facebook, so who knows what things have been like on the ground?
Has PT ever trolled a festival FB page as much as they did Waka this past weekend?
Yeah, considering my wife was there, this trolling really isn't funny. Not saying jess was trolling but the people that originally posted the picture were.
