Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Hopefully Firefly is good this year again. I wanted to go last year but was unable to because of too many other awesome shows I had to see! (didn't have the $$) I also feel like having a festival on the Eastern Shore is such an odd location.. we NEVER get any shows.. you always have to drive to Baltimore. Oh and no offense to those of you in Jersey, NY, PA, etc. but a lot of the bros come down from those states to "party MAAAAAAAAANNN." (or from Salisbury University). i live about an hour from the fest so i wouldn't even bother with camping.. especially without late night shows.. I heard from some friends (also roo Vets) that it left a lot to be desired. If I have the money I will go this year I suppose..

In case anyone missed it, the lineup will be announced on the 19th.
With the lineup dropping the same days as Roo, a strong set of headliners could pull many east coast festival fans here instead of Roo. I think it would of been smart on Bonnaroo's part to get the lineup out before Firefly, though the size of this festival really does pale in comparison so they probably don't care, especially with Macca on the top line.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Today is such a great day. I am pretty excited about this line up, mainly because it is so close to where i live. PLUS the Bonnaroo line up comes out. I am really ecstatic about what this has, will help me to solve conflicts with bonnaroo plus see bands that aren't going to be at Roo. Good on you Firefliy... Good on you.
Aren't they doing a sort of Late night this year?? Maybe they're trying to do a split headliner with Vampire Weekend and FTP. I know it's not the greatest thing in the world. But being a smaller fest it's not horrible.
Pretty dissapointing headliners, but for me personally.... VAMPIRE WEEKEND, who I have never seen, is an A+ pre headliner.
Yeah the top line is meh to me as well. I mean they'll be fun, but nothing special. However, most of the stuff after the first line has got me pretty pumped especially, after going last year and seeing what the stage situation is like and everything. Also excited to see what the Late Night is going to be like

That does look like Bonnaroo 2012 with a splash of 2013 artists that are touring. I'm guessing that most of the bands on that lineup that didn't play Bonnaroo 2012, will play Bonnaroo 2013.
That's not too bad other than top line though toward the bottom I know nothing. I still think it'd be fun to do a Roo to Firefly back to back road trip. Even if I've seen or will see a lot of that stuff at other fests there's enough there for a great weekend with good music all day. I wonder if this means we'll get MGMT. I really hope it means we get Ed Sharpe. Also, I may be alone in this but I hope Foster is doing shows this summer. I thought they were just working on the new record for now.
Being from Jersey i think that my June is going to festival packed. I think i'm going to do Governor's Ball-->Bonnaroo-->Firefly. I may volunteer at Firefly it's still up in the air. I also hope that Roo gets Ed Sharpe, even though people hate on their second album (which i agree with) i still enjoy their sound. MGMT would be a cool get as well. Although the bottom half of the lineup gets a little no name. Still Action Bronson, Lord Huron, Foxygen, LP, St. Lucia, and a few more still have me excited.
I wanted to do that exact journey but unfortunately I'm in a wedding during Governor's. Ed Sharpe's albums are really not that great, but live they're incredible. I've seen them five times and the music completely transforms. The arrangements are better, it's fun seeing that many people on stage, and Alex is an incredible frontman. Yeah the bottom of the lineup definitely will require research. I'm sure there's a couple good things in there though.
Definitely, that's one of my favorite parts about festival lineups is the discovery part. I like to listen to all the bands that i haven't heard of yet, and predict whether or not they're going to get big next year. Alabama Shakes and Kendrick were two names last year that i had a feeling would get huge. Although i'm sure a lot of people had that feeling as well.

Who did Firefly last year? Impressions? Went to NFF last year instead, definitely a different vibe. Plan on Bonnaroo this year but Firefly is pretty much in my backyard. I don't know anyone who did firefly last year.
