I'm not into the whole hologram thing at all. At this point they are just trying to replicate the buzz created by the Dre, Snoop, and Friends show at Coachella. As far as Bone using the Eazy-E hologram, he was the one who signed them to their first label and did add vocals to a song on Creepin' On A Come Up.
edit: Maybe the hologram will stick around for Crossroads. They could even have a Biggie, Pac, And Eazy holgram embrace during it a la the closing scene in Return of the Jedi with Obi Wan, Yoda, and Vader.

Really liking the new song. I haven't followed this tour at all, is RZA with them? I got to see them in 2011 and he wasn't which was a bummer. The did have ODB's son though, he was pretty cool.

Just noticed the new song want produced by RZA. I'm assuming that means he probably isn't on your with them, or really even associated at this point? I need to catch up on my Wu news.

Put away your jump to conclusions mat. Rza is the one who "delivered" this new track:
In the off-chance you can make your way through Peter Rosenberg's sound effects and ad-libs, Wu-Tang Clan has a brand new song "Family Reunion."
The soul sampling track features members Ghostface Killa, Method Man and Masta Killa, and was delivered into the hands of Hot 97 courtesy of RZA. The crew was present and accounted for at Hot 97's Summer Jam XX just this past weekend.
Wu-Tang also dropped fresh single "Execution in Autumn" last month on limited 7", and in drastically different style. Still, it's a good sign that the hip-hop vets are on track for a sixth full-length "A Better Tomorrow," a little celebration behind the 20th anniversary (!) of "36 Chambers." "A Better Tomorrow" is supposedly due in July.
The hip-hop tour Rock The Bells features Wu-Tang Clan as headliners for this summer, and the lineup will boast a "hologram" appearance (a la Tupac Shakur at Coachella) by the late, great Ol' Dirty Bastard.

pretty sure Execution is an old song they just released, but that mentions a real new song as well.

Derp. You are right. Here is the newer one. The song couldn't be embedded in the post so I youtubed it but searched the wrong one. Here's the clip from the radio show of the NEW song:

My question is-from what I've been hearing Sir Paul's set will most likely go over his set time and thus spill into the Wu's set. This is a huge fuckin dilemma for me, does anyone else feel the same way? And if so, are you guys gonna stick it out at Paul or try to bail to get a good spot for Wu-Tang? I'm 50-50 at the moment.

I think this decision is impossible to make ahead of the time. It's a heat of the moment kind of thing. I can't imagine leaving Paul until he's done, but I really don't wanna miss any Wu

Staying at Paul til he's done. Wu-Tang are legends in their own right, but Paul's getting up there. That being said, I'm a bigger Paul fan than I am a Wu-Tang fan, so I could certainly see why people would want to skip out early to catch a late night Wu-Tang set (and esp. if they have an orchestra with them)

It is a decision that many will have to make in the moment; however, I will be leaving Sir Paul when he starts doing his first encore. Recently, I went over to the McCartney board and asked how much time his actual set has been taking to perform and then how long his encores have been taking. I was told that the encores have been around 30 minutes, considering that his shows have been running around three hours, I should be able to watch about a two and a half hour set from Paul, which is his allotted time, and then go over to Wu Tang and get there a little before/ right when they start because I assume they'll at least start a little late. Hope this helps you, just remember his ENTIRE show is +3 hours causing you to miss at least 30 minutes of Wu, but his ACTUAL SET (minus encores) is 2 and 1/2 hours getting you to the Wu right when they start. Oh and this in the hope that we get the real deal like Coachella did, all members + an orchestra, if we don't I'lll beyond bummed that I just skipped out on the encores of Paul McCartney and I'm not sure i would even enjoy the set because we didn't get the whole package, that is, until I realized that it meant that I could go watch ZZ Top and not worry about that conflict anymore. hahaha

Definitely this. I don't wanna miss a lot of Wu-Tang, so i'll try to leave during the 2nd encore.

I can't believe I'm in a position to hope that Paul McCartney cuts his set short. That said, I'll stick with Paul no matter how long he plays. Unfortunately, if you check Wu-Tang's setlist at Coachella, they play almost the entire Enter the 36 Chambers album at the beginning of their set, which makes the decision more difficult. I don't care about getting a good spot for Wu-Tang really, but the later I get to Wu-Tang, the later I'll get to ZZ Top, so it'll throw the whole plan off. So I hope Paul ends close to 11:30 or that Wu-Tang starts a bit late.
Macca and Wutang!!! Born to a Beatle maniac father: and what better way to rebel then loving Wu-Tang growing up? Thankfully I grew to love both equally!!!

The good news with the Wu move is that I won't feel any pressure to leave Paul early if he goes until midnight. I would have been distracted during Paul's encores knowing that I was missing the Wu-Tang opening. I feel no such pressure to get to the xx. Plus, the ZZ Top tent just got a lot less crowded.
