Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just checked Weather.com to get a general idea of how the weather might be for us volunteers. It may not be accurate seeing that we're still a week away, but as of right now, it's looking like it might be a wet first couple of days:
Mon, Jun 8 Partly Cloudy High: 86° Low: 67° 20% chance of rain
Tue, Jun 9 Scattered T-Storms High: 86° Low: 67° 60% of rain
Wed, Jun 10 Scattered Showers High: 83° Low: 66° 30% of rain
Anyone catch the note that Volunteer Camping has been moved? Given the directions provided, we'll be much closer to Centeroo this year! Best that I can tell, we'll be roughly behind This Tent and the Other Tent.

I am really freaking excited about this. GOOD NEWS...I am so glad we won't be back in BFE this year!

1 Karen 1 : One of my friends is coming and she is 7 1/2 mo pregnant!!! They are staying in an airconditioned rv though, and are bringing an extra car...just incase a rush to the delivery room is needed!
Also what time did you get your e-mail? I still haven't gotten mine yet! Are you pre-fest? I am such a planner and I freak about small details....you would think an art teacher would be a bit more relaxed!
Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream
yay, i got my e-mail as well...the map is hard to tell where we are going to be camping...it SAYS we are much closer to centeroo, but you can't really tell...also, it says smoking will not be allowed in staff areas, including the sleeping tents...does this mean my own campsite and tent?

yeah the volunteer campsite doesnt look like its that close.. and i guess my plan of walking from the bus station to the farm needs to be changed and now involves a cab since check-in is near walmart?
1: Start out going NORTH on WOODBURY HWY/TN-53 toward FRONTAGE RD. 0.2 mi Map 2: Merge onto I-24 E. 3.3 mi Map Avoid 3: Take the US-41 exit, EXIT 114, toward MANCHESTER. 0.2 mi Map Avoid 4: Turn LEFT onto US-41/HILLSBORO BLVD/TN-2. Continue to follow US-41/TN-2. 0.5 mi Map Avoid 5: End at 2610 Hillsboro Hwy Manchester, TN 37355-6537 Map
Estimated Time: 5 minutes Estimated Distance: 4.20 miles
here are direction from the bus station to the check point. A cab will be pretty cheap.
karley: what time are you going to be getting in to manchester? i only live about 15 min from the farm and i could pick you up and give you a ride to the check-in. cabs are very rare in manchester, you will have to call ahead of time and probably have one scheduled because there is only one or 2 cab companies...i was planning on checking in around noon, but i can wait if you need a ride...
thanks everyone! my bus is scheduled to arrive around 9am on tuesday, so yeah if anyone is passing by and wants to pick me up that would be perfect!! i could also wait if thats too early, im not really in a rush to get there since we'll be sitting around all day, but maybe it would be nice to get there and set up before the "scattered t-storms" that are expected on tuesday :/

I'm a new volunteer too, but I think someone mentioned earlier that you're allowed to smoke in the campsites, just not in the staffing areas in Centeroo. You can do whatever you want in your campsite as far as I know...just be mindful of your butts!! ;D
Got my email today as well! Yay! Only a week away! Here's an updated forecast for all volunteers:
Sun, Jun 7 Partly Cloudy High: 89° Low: 69° 10% chance of rain
Mon, Jun 8 Partly Cloudy High: 90° Low: 68° 20% chance of rain
Tue, Jun 9 Isolated T-Storms High: 84° Low: 66° 30% chance of rain (not bad!)
Wed, Jun 10 Mostly Sunny High: 82° Low: 64° 10% chance of rain
Thu, Jun 11 Partly Cloudy High: 83° Low: 64° 20% chance of rain
To Pre-Fest volunteers who need a pick up: I'm coming from Nashville, TN and am unfortunately not carpooling. I'll have room to pick up one (maybe two, if I'm lucky) person from the bus station. So if you still need a lift, PM me.
