Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Did you check your spam? I applied right around the same time as you, and I received my acceptance letter in my e-mail on April 24th... I put my deposit down on May 4th.
Yeah! nada.
I don't know if I'd be concerned exactly, but I would certainly give them a shout at this point. They're good about responding to emails— I would ping them with all the details and ask for some clarification about your status. Let us know what happens, and best of luck!
Congrats, Ellie! It's great to see people get what they want!
I'm not surprised, really. It's just nice having official confirmation Now I'm eager to see what they schedule me for but I'll find out in exactly 4 weeks when checking in.

I just figured out that the clean up is done by Clean Vibes... oh well, I still have it put down to work in the motorpool and asked if I could get the same shifts that I had last year as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
They've started the stars systen so I assumea certain star level gets you access to requesting times, but probably too difficult to guarantee any time shift, just the type and therefore day ranges and how long shifts are

I'm currently at 4 stars and in general admission... should be moving up a level after this years Roo... This will be the 3rd time working with WET. I worked Roo & the DMB Caravan in Chicago last summer.

I just got a reply from the e-mail I sent about post-fest. They said they would put me on post-fest if I'd like to do that! I replied that I'd love to do that... and now I'm so excited!!!

***MODS, if this isn't kosher or in the right filebox please let me know****
Another volunteer op for those still without the means to be at this and other festivals. I worked with these guys last year. Friends of mine. Help them out or spread the word. Good folks doing good work for good folks:
All volunteers will be required to work two shifts ranging between 10 -12 hour each. We are monitoring the hand wash stations, working gates and doing concessions. For volunteering you will gain access to the event. We are still trying to work out if our volunteers will get a meal and a t-shirt. Most of our volunteers are going have to be able to be onsite on Tuesday or Wednesday before Bonnaroo starts.
We are asking people if they would be coming with a group to please assign one group leader. This group leader would be responsible to communicate all info with their team, making sure there group shows up for there shifts, gathering all contact info on there volunteers email and cell phone numbers, etc.
We will be gathering more info and will post it on our Facebook event page as we get it. We are still in need of around a 100 people for this event. Spots will fill up quick. We are going to be collecting deposits for this event. There will be a $50 deposit which includes a $10 processing fee. You will get $40.00 back after you work your second shift.
If you would like to get on the list, please email Joshua Hanson at nomadjoshua@gmail.com or call 256-538-5228

Hey all, just wondering if anyone on here has had/is having problems with their deposits for WET? I put mine down yesterday, and the charge went through on my bank account but my account on WET says "deposit not received." Did it take a few days for your status to change or is something wrong? I emailed WET about it yesterday but I haven't gotten a response.

My WET account says deposit received, but when I look at my bank account, I don't see the charge...hoping there wasn't a mix-up and that I really am accepted - I'd be pretty upset if not since I've spent A LOT of money on Roo gear (tent, ez-up, cooler, dresses, swimsuits, etc.....) and I of course am dying to go to Roo!

Myself and three friends are doing the post-show clean up but we aren't really sure what a good means of transportation to the airport after that is because Bonnaroo's shuttles obviously don't run that late. Does anyone know of any people that have had this issue/run into it themselves?

IMO, the best thing for you all to do is start finding rides with other volunteers ASAP! It's possible you might find a person who is volunteering with a couple spots in their car. You might need to split up in to two cars. But start looking NOW. I've been stranded a couple of times at Roo (because I always go with the flow) but finding a ride home is the most important one...
Edit: Actually, the ride TO Roo is the most important one, but you catch my drift. Start looking now, get in touch with Clean Vibes, they have to leave a few days after roo is over. They have a board as well as WET.
I'm Jess, I've just payed my volunteer deposit and this will be my first roo. I'm coming from Wales, UK and will be volunteering with two friends, they are both doing pre-fest but I think I'll be doing during. Can any returning volunteers tell me if WET send out anything in the mail before? I'm flying in two weeks and I don't wanna miss anything important.. I've emailed WET twice but no response yet.. Anyways, I look forward to getting to know you all!

I might have room in my car for like 1 or 2 people.. I'm gonna have quite a bit of stuff with me though, so it just depends on how much stuff you have with you.

I don't think you'll need to worry about missing any mail. W.E.T. did not send me anything as a pre-fest volunteer last year.
Be sure to have the ability to check your e-mails in the weeks leading up to your check-in date.
In reviewing my e-mails leading up to the 5th (when we had to report), W.E.T. sent a Volunteer Agreement on the 1st that had to be electronically signed by the 3rd. Directions to the Volunteer Check-In were provided in the PDF received after signing.

That's great! Thanks for your help, I should have internet access until we leave on the 2nd and possibly at the motel stop along the way.
Yup. Any material items not in emails is received when checking in, so you'll be fine.
There's 1 girl I ran into on the WET forum that needs a ride from Richmond or Blackstone VA. If anyone is passing that way somehow, let me know and I can get you in touch with her. Or search for Heaven-Faith on Zimride and/or the WET forum.
I emailed WET to ask them when I'm supposed to receive a check in instructions email and Kylie said that they would be sending those out 2 weeks before Roo. I was afraid that I missed something in my email or something. Just thought that I'd share just in case someone else was wondering the same thing
I have a question that I haven't seen the answer to yet. Can a non-volunteer come crash with me at my tent in volunteer camping? My friend is going to try and get a ticket to get in but she doesn't want to set up camp by herself. I told her that she was welcome to camp with me, but I wasn't sure if that was going to be ok. She wont be able to get to Roo until Friday night, so I figured that if she had a GA ticket that it wouldn't matter where she camped as long as it wasn't in VIP or anything

According to the letter of the law, no, your friend would not be allowed to camp with you if you are camped in the volunteer camping area. In all reality though, I see no great reason why it would be impossible or even difficult to have that happen.

If it does end up being a problem then you could both just go and camp in Tent Only.
Chances are where your friend parks might be better too. Just obviously make sure you have separate driving arrangements to go onto the farm. some people think they can get non-volunteers in early with them. Nope.
Just got another email sent out. Make sure to check your designation:
